Found this on Moneysavingsexpert but it is a genuine deal because I got two cards last night..

THIS IS NOT ADVERTISED IN STORE BUT

Buy two £15 iTunes download card in main Tesco stores and you will only pay £22.50 for them - effectively giving you £7.50 extra for free.

You must buy two cards to get this deal.

How did I get it?

I went to Customer Service to check that the deal applied in Scotland as well as England. The lady rang through to the entertainment section who confirmed the deal. The store had loads of the old style gift cards and I steared clear of the new darker green Christmas branded gift cards. Went to the entertainment checkout, confirmed the deal again and then the were scanned through. Will try and post a copy of the receipt.

Believe this is only instore and only applies to the £15.00 gift cards

I think the deal expires on 9th December so be quick.

There isn't any instore signage. You won't see signs of this instore or on Tesco website, and many staff don't know about it SO DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK.

See image of receipt at post no. 35.

Please note the image is $15 but card in Tesco that worked for me was exactly the same colour and style but for £15.....

H&R OP, think this is teh best deal I have seen on these so far...beats Morrisons and Co-Op offers.
#2
Seems to be the best deal at the moment - better value than the £20 for a £25 voucher offer. My sister got this deal yesterday to her surprise.

This offer was advertised nationally in The Sun newspaper yesterday alongside the £25 ITunes card when you buy an iPod Nano Offer. This deal is definitely on, and ends 9/12/09 according to the advert.

The original MSE thing about a £25 card for £20 was never advertised and not a national offer - and so acted as a bit of confusion. This offer is an actual nationwide promotion.

Can you use these to purchase apps for a iPod Touch?

The vouchers add credit to your iTunes account. So you can spend them on anything in the iTunes Store including Apps, Films, Audiobooks etc.

Thanks OP heat and rep!

My local (south Queensferry even had Point of sale sinage advertising them as 2 for £22.50 so I dont see how any stores can deny the offer !
#27
there wasn't any pos on the shelves, manager said nothing on system and the one store had even removed all their cards saying head office had told them to. Not saying anyone's lying just saying my 2 local stores won't sell at the offer price, lost as what else i can do lol

Tried in my Metro today, went through at full price! Queried it with the assistant and got the expected response that it's probably only the larger stores doing the offer. Other goods that are on offer in the larger stores can be found in the Metro at the same price. Go figure!

Just returned from Tesco Extra store in Sunbury on Thames. They had the cards but no mention of offer. Guy in entertainment section had not heard of it but was willing to scan cards to see what price would be charged. He tried 3 tills in entertainment and two downstairs in customer service, none of which would scan the cards. He spoke to manager who said that the cards would only scan when activated and if they did that I'd have to buy them. Didn't take him up on offer!
Will try a couple more stores tomorrow.
