Really good deal! Not sure if you can get quidco as this item is only available for store pick up.

Great to see Argos on Quidco finally, isn't it!

Really silly question and I’m sure it’s been asked before. How long can I hold on to them before applying them to an iTunes account and once applied to an account do they have an expiry date Many thanks:thumbsup:
#5
Top deal - the cards count as the 2 items - just sorted christmas presents.
Thanks

Thanks

Can these be used to buy apps on an iphone?
#8
Yes - they can be used to purchase anything on Itunes. I picked up two cards in their previous offer with a newspaper voucher and have been using them for iphone apps.

Excellent deal, these can be used on the US store IIRC!

Brilliant deal!!

I only ever buy the odd song here and there, but seeing as they have no expiry date, I may as well go for this

Thanks

How much money do you get in USD when you add these to your account as that's what I have - if it uses the current exchange rate could be a top deal!

iTunes currently has 8% quidco, but I don't know whether that works with prepaid cards.

Hey JDC, you don't need an iPod. I haven't had one for a year or so now and still download songs to the itunes on my PC, you can also download the vids etc and just watch them on your PC.

There was always going to be one..

Why, is 79p a song too expensive for you?

There are other legal download sites which are cheaper. The only reason you should be using iTunes is if you have an iPod and lack enough computing knowledge (or patience i suppose) to get your tunes elsewhere.

iTunes is also not the best deal for the artist.

So, hot deal for my technologically illiterate mum i suppose, but anyone who is able look into the alternatives should go and do just that.

Please, feel free to link me to cheaper download sites. I'd be interested in seeing if they are indeed cheaper, but more to the point I'd love to see if they can match the ludicrously massive itunes library (you'd be surprised at how many random and obscure underground acts you'll find on itunes, and itunes only), and the reliability of it.

As for "iTunes is also not the best deal for the artist"... that's a silly statement to make, to be honest. I mean, unless you've actual evidence (and I'd love to see it if you do, mate) then assumptions such as that have no place. I work in the industry, I like to think I know a fair bit about various aspects of it. I've many a friend (music producers, independents) who sell their music on itunes and couldn't be happier. In fact, itunes is like the golden grail of download sources.

Anyway.. I'm not having a go, but I'm genuinely interested to see if you can back up any of your claims with evidence/fact. :)

Just had the same thing happen to me in the Letchworth store except they wouldnt let me have them at all!!! Carol, their duty manager and the staff looked at me as if i was completely nuts until I made them look at their website. So that was a wonderful 20 mile round trip I did today, so thank you Letchworth branch.:w00t:

Managed to pick some up at my local Argos, though it was a bit of a palava. The system didn't deduct anything off, so two just rang up as £30.

The poor assistant eventually got the manager over, and even she was unable to get the system to accept the 2 for £20. The manager eventually rang Argos Head Office and they sent her a £30 gift certificate code to use on my order (I bought 6), and that was the only way she could get all 6 to charge me £60.

Stil, that should keep me going for a while.

Thanks OP
Kevin.

I haven't used Play for this but I know some that have and they do seem a little cheaper. Don't really know much about them but i'm sure someone on here will say how bad they are.

The photo shows "music card" written on the card.

Can someone please confirm that it is possible to use this card to buy from the iTunes app store.

Thanks.
