Price of one bag is £2, but Tesco is offering 'Buy 2 for £3'. Then an additional 20% is taken off with the current "20% off all gardening" offer.
The 20% is based on the full price of 2 bags.. ie. 2 x £2 = £4 x 20% = 80p. I guess it would be easier if I just took a photo of the receipt and loaded it up... but that's just too techno techno for me.
It's like Christmas has come early.

I guess this is the "30% Peat Free" stuff I saw at my local. Shameful phrasing, do be aware of the issues with peat.

Well said, peat extraction is doing terrible damage to declining ecosystems.

Still works out more expensive than Aldi's or Lidls as their's comes in 40litre bags at under £2

I just bought 120L general purpose for £6.98 at B&Q, it was the Which best buy for growing plants. Had some evil stuff last season from Morrisons - killed the plants. I inspect a broken open bag to see what's in it before I buy now, anything lumpy or with bits of plastic in it gets rejected.

This could be helpful for people without a car to get to the bigger stores like B & Q. They can just get a small amount from their local Tesco

Uh uh - I bought them today and there was no 20% off - they were £2 each and 2 for £3 - just £1 taken off - not the additional 20% as you state?
