My husband loves this stuff so getting in a few bottles for Xmas. Usually just shy of £20 a bottle so this is a steal

Jack Daniel's is a premium Tennessee whiskey.

In 1866, Jack Daniel's distillery became the first registered distillery in the United States. It's here in Lynchburg, Tennessee that every drop of Jack Daniel's is still produced and bottled today. During its 141 years, it has won numerous gold medals from around the world. We put its success down to the unique way in which his famous 'Old No.7' brand is made: the finest corn, rye and barley malt; the pure, iron free water from Lynchburg's Cave Spring; the hard maple charcoal mellowing process; and the charred white oak barrel maturing. It's the extra step of charcoal mellowing that makes Jack Daniel's a smooth sipping Tennessee whiskey not a bourbon. It's dripped through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal, which takes out any impurities and lends a unique, smooth taste.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Warm amber.

Nose: Sweet, rich, vanilla.

Taste: Hints of orange, brown sugar and spice, full bodied oak and dry apple.

If it's your first online shop and you bought 4 bottles, enter XXPD96 at the checkout for £10 off. If you chose a Tuesday night £3.50 delivery option you would get 4 bottles for £43.50 delivered. :-D
#9
That is cheap.....

Sainsbury's are doing the same bottle for £14.... in store......
#10
good price for a womans drink
#11
Have no idea how anyone can drink this filth. Probably the only spirit that makes my stomach turn.

Decent price, if drinking sewage water is your thing.
suspended#12
Great price, my bro gets staff discount so £22.50 is amazing!

Pity it tastes like petrol :(

Yeah you can order it for any day between tomorrow and the 6th and you will get it for that price. Mine is coming tomorrow, will need to hide it before the hubby gets his mitts on it! I'm sure he'd be chuffed to hear its a "womans" drink lol :p
#17
This is an incredible find. Definitely an acquired taste, but it's my favourite whiskey by a mile.

Cheers for the added coupon deal + delivery info, heat and rep added.
#18
Does anyone know if you can buy this stuff first thing in the morning or is it just Sundays that have those stupid licensing rules?
#19
Could be worth going via The News Of The World cashback site as well for another £5 cashback http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/captain_cash/598164/New-customers-get-pound10-off-pound50-spend-plus-extra-pound5-cashback.html for New customers

good stuff

Well I hope Tesco ensure they have pallets of JD available in store, because this offer is going to fly. The problem is, they never usually stock more than 4-6 bottles on the shelf at any one time. As such, trying to purchase this offer online will no doubt be fruitless. Get your backsides in there quick. :-)
#22
gonna be there after my morning lecture stocking up! Thanks!
#23
This is gonna get very hot!
#24
This same offer I am seeing for last 3 years!
#25
Got a real sickener of this during the year after moving over from vodka for a change - something which has never happened while drinking a good quality vodka!

Don't get me wrong this is a cracking deal if you like the drink, and it's been this price before too. But I'll just stick with the old tried and trusted premium vodka from now on.
#26
I am not able to find this price online can anyone help ?

Em sorry, I didn't realise it was a repeat of an old deal or anything. I just thought it was a great price for 2 bottles of Jack - my husband is a fanatic and I've never seen good deals on this before so I was chuffed.
Anyway, it's the cheapest available now to my knowledge so hope it helps some other Jack drinkers get their fix a bit cheaper

At Tesco Extra in Coatbridge they were putting a full Pallet of this onto one of the promotional shelves not long ago when I was in getting a few things. Now I know why - will definitely grab a couple for presents. :santa:

Dont understand why this stuff is so expensive compared to other British whisky. If it was 2x1l it would be agreat deal but only 70cl,na. Voted hot though.

I couldn't agree more. I've loved JD for over 15 years, but have never understood WHY it's so overpriced?!! For the price we have to pay here in the UK, this is a good deal. But if you go to the US, this stuff is cheap-as-chips. :x

I understand the costs of importing, as well as the Duty that has to be paid, but pllleeeaasee!

Perhaps the company don't support a lot of offers on it, or don't let lots of offers be put on it. It is a very premium product here in the UK.

Don't quite see it myself, and don't like it either - but 2 for £25 is a good deal as it's never usually that cheap.

http://www.tesco.com/superstore/content/?category=GuidePrice&id=default

About the guide price
The guide price is what we estimate your order will come to when we do your shopping. You may find that your final bill is slightly different from the guide price.

If you're not happy just return any item

If the final price charged for any item is more than you wanted to pay, you can return it and we'll give you a full refund. Just give it back to the driver and we'll take care of it for you.

So why is the guide price different to my final bill?

The guide price is based on today's prices instore. But we shop for your order on the day you want it delivered, just as though you were shopping yourself. The final bill can vary because:

The guide price uses an estimated weight for weighed items like grapes and cheese. But what you pay will use the exact weight.
The guide price doesn't include all promotion and offer discounts. But what you pay will include all the promotions and offers that are valid on that day, including any new offers that apply.
The guide price is based on the prices in-store today. But what you pay is the price in-store on the day of delivery and some prices may have changed.
If we have to substitute any item you'll be charged the price for the substitute instead.
