Got these from Asda Govan this morning and they had loads of them.

Not sure if this extends to England as it does say Scottish bakery on it.

probably the fact its a year or so old , what Asda do is make 1000s of these kind of items and freeze them then defrost in store ( they call it baking ) and then put them on sale

sainsburys do the same with mince-pies

gotta love a know it all haven't ya.
they do freeze them yes, as raw pastry. They get baked off, so they do in fact bake them.
