Twin Pack of Compatible printer cartridges for Epson Photo printers.

svp used to do an excellent deal £7 for two sets but have stopped.

This seems to be a good deal for those not wanting to spend loads on a true Epson cartridge.

anyone managed to test these alongside the official ones to see if theres any difference? i've tried compatibles with HP before, 2 sets and they were terrible to be fair, so i'm just not sure how good these would be?

I recently ordered a set of R300 inks from UKDVDR and although I haven't printed anything major yet, they seem fine and are chipped.

The set from mfym look like the set I replaced and were also good quality, £12.83 is a great price for 2 sets.

the ones i listed are great,,,,,,,,use them all the time.

does chipped mean they wont get the software moaning at you each time you print?

has anyone compared a 'best photo' print between official and not official?

and also i wonder what the lastability of the ink will be too....

oddly i just had 2 sets delivered from ukdvdr today.they used to be datasafe brand and i used about 20 sets no trouble(only bit of a clog if you dont use printer for a while.the ones arrived today are different brand havent tested yet.

I've used compatibles since the R200 came out, including Datasafe, Ridisc and JetTec, they have all been fantastic, they last very well so no worries there and the print quality is top notch, why pay for official carts when you can have these!

because epson inks dont ruin your print head so much...
some compatibles are ok, but others are awful.
i work for an epson warranty centre (which doesnt mean we like them, just means we get paid to swap thier products lol). And from an open minded person like myself, we've seen that these compatible inks trash your printer... tho some brands seem ok.

But then, if your happy replacing your printer every 18 months, who cares. lol

The Epson branded ones are never cheap and from my experience there is not much in the way of price difference with any web dealer.

As someone has said here the poor quality ink in some compatible replacements can cause premature deteriation of the print head ...I prefer to go for more expensive compatibles that come with some guarantee so I buy from www.choicestationery.co.uk and have never had reason to complain.

lol, that think plus company will probably take your printer to thier local epson repair centre with a set of genuine cartridges in... lol!

Epson inks are not much cheaper trade price... although the multipacks are better value for money.

Generally a £6.99 cart can be brought for about £4+vat trade.
