Nice. Cineworld not so close but film looks pretty good.

Are the free tickets.only valid for Rio? Maybe you could sneak into a different screen once your tickets has been checked in the foyer.
#10
Are these 2 absolutely free tickets OR 2 free tickets if you buy other tkts at full price etc?

Important to know- do they list which cinemas/locations are participating?

Also, how much is the Sunday Times?

Lots of hot votes without actually knowing the detail! If it depends on buying other tkts, then its cold from me.

If not, its hot...but who knows?

So you would have to buy the papers?

Also what is the Funday Times, first time I heard of it.

FUnday Times used to be the kids pullout section going back a few years!
#18
Thanks Golly. So are they in the Times tomrrow? Or on Sunday only?

And while I'm at it, are they 3D tickets?
#19
I am now pretty certain they will be 2 child tkts - which means you will probably have to buy at least 1 full price adult tkt to accompany them!

Thats me being cynical in this current climate where consumers are taken for mugs!

On Sunday - then any additional ones can be got via collecting vouchers printed in The Times (Mon-Fri)

Gollywood you know your stuff. The child tickets part makes more sense, since its the kids section and all that.
#22
Excellent film. Highly recommended.

Until someone can prove otherwise, I'll keep speculating :)

Just seen the ad on TV

They are hyping it as a family tkt, so I am guessing its 1 adult / 1 child tkt - with an opportunity to get 2 more through the week.

If thats the case, may just be easier to buy 2 newspapers and take 2 adults & 2 kids with you.

Time for my ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

anyone know how much the news paper is?

Thanks didnt know how much it was either, just updated the OP.

I tried to catch the small print on the TV advert and I thought that it said the tickets have to be used on Saturday 16th only. Previous Times offers like this had a choice of 2 screening days.
#29
usually its before 5pm as well

100% CORRECT!!!

The only questions I now have are:

- do you have to turn up on the day of the showing, exchange the vouchers & get entry or can you go in the middle of the week & do it in advance?

- What if 1000 people turn up (not unrealistic) & there are only 500 seats available?

has to be used on a particular date only?

So, 1 adult and 1 child ticket - that's good. I have 2 children so if I buy 2 papers then could both I an my wife get take a child each without some catch?

I know that Cineworld do £1 per person screenings for kids films at certain times anyway, but not for new out films like Rio in 3D.

Cineworld £1

This sounds promising. I'm off out to buy one and report back. If it looks OK I'll get another.

Absolutely correct - I checked the fine print carefully before purchasing 2 newspapers. Perhaps I should have stood outside the newsagents and flogged both papers off for half price!

Looks like it has to be used next sunday. 10th of april

That's right. Any screening before 5PM on that day. For my local Cineworld there are 11:40, 2PM and 4:40PM.

I'm off to exchange the vouchers for the 2PM now.

does a adult have to go with child..? or can the adult go alone using the ticket? ...

So they CAN be exchanged a few days in advance?
