The screen on this thing is about the size of an SD card.

You'll have to convert your videos to a special format (AMV) that this type of player uses, i've included a link below to the type of software needed to convert them and play them on a pc.

Not the best movie format in the world if your playing the movies on anything other than the player itself

Hi all,

I purchased this item in the 4gb variety, it looks ok to be honest, one thing I will add though, mine came with a smaller 2.5mm earphone hole meaning you have to purchase an adaptor to use normal earphones with this.

I did this, then pluged everything in, charged it up, popped some song across and all seemed well.

Then I pressed play, obviously mine was faulty, so i'm not saying they will all do this, but, a fax/data like sound came out of the earphones in my ear (also hurt) then earphones started to get warm!! Took them out, turned it off and popped it in the drawer.

Next time I came to use my proper ipod with the earphones i'd used on this device my earphones has burst and just distorted. The thing is still in my drawer gathering dust.

To stress, mine is exaclty the smae looking, just branded mp4 digital player rather than iZone, not saying they are all the same, just warning people not to plugdecent headphones in first time until you know it works.

Hope this saves someone elses earphones as I wasnt able to save my own!!! Oh well, live and learn.

thats the problem with items like this. Its a false economy buying it even at the price. You might as well save a little more a buy something with a name or even go on ebay as theres loads of cheap mp4 players.

I did have two players similar to these, one was faulty out the box giving error messages and freezing and the other worked for about 3 months before it just wouldnt charge or switch on. I got mine on the "popular auction site" from Hong Kong, these ones are just rebranded in the UK by the company 'ATMT' and googling there products they have similar reviews for most of there items as most of the unbranded ones that come from Hong Kong.
Still at about £7 each, you might just get your moneys worth out of them, but if your buying them for the kids and one of them tells you its not working a week later, just dont blame the kids!

Not Apple OS10 compatible, (as on web site) returned items for a full and quick refund.

Excellent CS from Boffer.

Definitely a tie in with SVP, as they are now selling Boffer items too.
