It depends on what size the bottles are.
The one's on the 3 for £20 are normally little 284ml bottles, which doesn't work out a good deal at all if you think about quantity wise.

Does anybody know what size bottles these are?
I still think it may be cheaper to buy them from the cans.

same shelf 330ml bottles of Stella are £7.98 for 15

I personally prefer Carlsberg 300ml bottles which are always £4 for 8 @ tesco's

not much in the prices, just depends on taste

Thing is, Carlsberg must be near enough the weakest name branded beer on the market at 3.8%. You'd die of kidney failure before you'd die of alcohol poisoning!

It's not all about alcoholic %age though. Carlsberg is miles ahead of Carling on quality. And you can't really compare light lagers like carlsberg to stronger ones like Grolsch can you!

I bought four crates of 20x300ml bottles of Grolsch from Asda last summer for £7 a crate so this is COLD for me sorry.
#13
That was last year. Can you get the offer in Asda now

No but I bet if I hold on I'll find a better one than this sooner enough!

That's by far the most ridiculous reason for voting cold i've ever seen.
You bought a totally different product 6 months ago that was slightly cheaper!

I agree that it's not a good reason to vote cold, but it's a bit bizarre to say that Taksim_Red bought a totally different product. He bought exactly the same product, except that when he bought it, the bottles were bigger. In fact he paid £1.17 per litre, whereas the offer posted here is £1.64 per litre, so his deal was a lot more than slightly cheaper.

The current Sainsbury's offer of 15 x 330ml bottles of Stella for £6.98 works out as a much better deal at £1.41 per litre. And to anyone who would like to argue that Grolsch is somehow superior to Stella, I would just say that they're both UK brewed fake imported 5% lagers.

Yesterday I saw these for £8 in the Exeter town centre store as well.

There doesn't seem to be any bulk buy offers on beer at the moment, so 40p per bottle / £1.45 per litre is pretty good.

Offer still available and the best deal I found in my two local supermarkets the other being Tesco.
