My husband brought 20 cans of Stella for £13 yesterday at Lidl, they are £6.99 each (10 pack fridge pack) or 2 for £13. They are the 440 cans so thought it was petty good.

EDIT: Apparently it's triple filtered which means it's not as good (though my husband liked it)!

Not that great a deal really, sainsburys are doing their 2 crates of 15 cans for £15 so you would get 30 cans for £15.

You can get 30 Carling, Carlsberg, Fosters, John Smith's Extra Smooth or Strongbow for £15 at Sainsbury's yes

Though my husband prefers Stella so this was a good deal for him :)

Yeah, it's the triple filtered stuff. Not to my taste, tasted a bit flat to me, good price though.

Deal needs to be amended to reflect the fact this is the cooking lager version of Stella and not the real thing. More like wife "winder upper" rather than "beater".

Got some last week and it was the ''beater stella'' also they were doing 2 for £20, but not sure if thats still going on.

Ah thought it was a good deal until I saw triple filtered. If I want my taste buds to be destroyed ill go for the 30 cans of carlsberg for 15 quid instead of this as its just as disgusting as carling/foster/carlsberg..not such a great deal, should change title..

Edit done :)

its not a bad drink, not quite the real mccoy though. Should post up the other offer if it hasnt already.

This is a lot nicer than the 'normal' Stella that gives you a rotten hangover (and makes the wife's head hurt, though not cos of the drink itself........)

They've also got two 275ml x 15 bottles of Carlsberg Export for £13. Thought that was pretty good
