Don't Tesco have 20 and the moisturiser for £20 or has that offer finished?
#10
I think 50p a blade is much better! Didn't get as much heat though??...

Dude, that's cos Wilkinson Sword are ***** The protective wires are a pain in the ***** and just cause the hair to clog. If you are old enough to shave you shouldn't need stabilizers!! ;-)

This deal is gunna burn!!!
#13
Good deal but the quality of these blades is a joke.
I'm lucky if I get one comfortable shave out of each blade. Disposables work out cheaper. I remember when they first came out and a 4 pack would last months.
They are not the same quality anymore, it's all a bit of a con!

What is it you think they could have done to them? I mean razors rust and a lot of the complaints people have about their blades not lasting too long is just the fact that they leave them wet in a damp bathroom and wonder why they rest...

I flick my blades on a towel and then put them away from moisture... They last me a good two months shaving roughly every three days.

all depends if you have a mans growth or a boys fuzz. i used to use these blades and like original poster believe the quality is no longer there or my face hair has turned to wire.
go electric my son and save a bomb

Absolutely nothing. A different colour, power written on the box and an extra quid or two in Mr Gillette's back pocket.
#19
I too have noticed that Fusion blades are nowhere near as good as when the were launched. I suspect that Gillette are able gradually to make the blades of less good quality deliberately ahead of launching a new product. Then people try the new super product and the word gets around and soon everybody switches.

I certainly test my razors. But I also wet-shave. So my face has been under the shower for several minutes before I even put shaving gel on it (*not horrible foam).

My shaving history has been:
Dry manual shave -> Electric Shave -> Wet manual shave

Electric just wrecked by face.
#21
I have not yet found an electric shaver that will shave as good as a wet shave.

I have tried lots od different razors and these are the best I have found in my 20+ years of wet shaving. These blades typically last me 3 or 4 months each, but then I do soften my whiskers with hot water before I shave ;)

Nice post OP btw

shaving roughly every three days.

Really? Nobody gonna pick up on this? :-D

Heat added. Excellent quality blades.

Made the mistake of buying them from eBay not too long ago, obviously turned out to be fake. But the packaging and look of the blades were virtually identical, the shave was horrible! Just a warning for anyone who is tempted.
#23
Very nice find, i'm still using the original blade in my fusion about 4 months later!
I do have a wash with hot water and soap to soften up before i put a razor near it or it really is agony, a new blade might help that. I'll get the wife to pick these up tonight.

Thanks
#24
Heat added from me and the missus has been sent up to asda already, I shave as little as I can get away with before me boy tells me to shave cause i look like a bear but now it seems i can shave more often cause at this price its a bargain
cheers

I totally agree !!! The blades are a fraction of the quality they used to be.

Anyway for those still looking they are £5 in tesco for 5 including England flag
#32
none at 2 asdas in swindon
#33
A recent convery to electric shaving (Braun series 7) from using these, and even though I can shave easily on a daily basis wih no rash, its still not as close as a fusion, although I don't miss the Barry bum rash

Hot deal though if you can find it, I imagine these will be flying of the shelves
#34
wowwee...

All my mates tell I'm a wicked shaver....I always exfoliate first with HOT water, then apply gel or foam with a shaving brush, then shave, shower, moisturise then apply aftershave to close the pores. Been doing this for 10 years and everyone comments how good my shaving is!!

More often than not i sit in the steam room at the gym then do the above...that gives me a luxury shave that lasts about 6 days till i need to shave again.

I use wilkinson sword quottro but will happy try fusion if theyre a good price - and a blade will easily last me 2 months.
#36
does this deal exist, i dont think so , cold
#37
I've just been down to my local Asda in Peterborough and they are definitely NOT running this offer. I scooted down there at 9am today having read the post on HUKD and as the offer was not on the shelf I checked with their help desk. No was the answer, so this is store selective and not nationwide. Did buy a case of beer for a tenner as a consolation.
banned#38
your description is a little thin to say the least..

which store did you buy from?

how much blades in a pack? eg 5x4pack

plus you could have taken a quick snap of the price at the store to prove doubters.....

Hi - go to Boots, they have a Mach 3 pack of 15 blades and moisturiser for £20

This 'deal' has been posted many times.

The product is from Gilette with an RRP of GBP20. It's NOT an Asda deal and, while this represents good value, it is NOT a deal, as retailers are charging the RRP.

Are you not thinking of the 12 blade & razor pack that was about at christmas the OP says this is 20 blades for £20, never seen a 20 pack myself
