Have been looking for one of these since we borrowed one last summer for a 4 year old. Anyone else who knows how much these usually are will know this is a bargain! I've been expecting to pay this for a second hand one! Sorry if it's been posted before... can't work out how to check if it has...

Cheapest I can see is someone selling them on ebay for £23 plus £15 postage, plus also you don't get any guarantee with that. So this looks a great price!

4+ yrs i would think. normally a 16'' bike is recommended for a 4yr old, but i bought em 20'' one and he was fin with it.

just found this hope it helps

'20 inch wheels and therefore slightly larger frames than the 16 inch and 18 inch wheel bikes. These bikes are suitable for ages around 7 to 9 years, of course depending on the child's size.

An 20 inch bike (a bike with 20 inch wheels really) is perfect for a child with a height of between 4' 0" and 4' 5", that's 120cm to 135cm.'

Just a note for those who were looking for one of these, we looked into these (or similar) last year and ended up prompting for a trailgator instead. This is a bar that connects onto an adult bike and hooks up a child's bike (with 12" to 24" wheels) providing the same sort of thing. This allowed us to let our son ride with his stabilisers until he was tired, then hook him up to my bike and tow him the rest of the way - it just gives a little more flexibility if your child is as fiercely independant as ours. From a quick google search, they are £40.95 from http://www.discountbicycles.co.uk, so a bit more expensive, but for us it's been fantastic - it means we can all go our on longer rides and my son has the fun of riding with his bigger brother and sister until he gets tired.

This won't be for everyone - but it's another option that certainly worked well for us !

cracking price, I paid double that for a 2nd hand one! (it was virtually new) I use mine to take my daughter the mile or so to school, and she loves it! i know for a fact that these sell for over £100.00 for a decent one, so those still after one might be wise to sign up for the alert email
