They just kept telling me they don't refund perishable items! In all my emails I sent to them I asked for a number to contact them on but they wouldn't give me one. Not once on the emails did it state a name of the person replying and every time I asked about the company number being a fax number to a bakery they wouldn't comment. Dodgiest company ever!

My delivery for 24th was for mother in laws birthday but just as an extra present.

Just contacted PayPal about asking if I really need to return these dead flowers. They are now saying because it is a perishable item I am not covered at all by PayPal and I need to get in contact with my card issuer to follow up with him to try and get my money back this is ridiculous

"During this busy time of the year we cannot guarantee any specific date for the delivery, though all orders for Christmas eve will be delivered before 25th December.

Hi guys, I am currently arguing with these people. I bought the 20 rose boquet and they came 3 days early. They were not what I ordered and they argument that took place said to be happy with what I got because they do not use old wilted flowers (I had never stated this) what I did receive were carnations and a a gerbera and for the money I was annoyed. PayPal has offered full refund if I send them back to the seller (at cost to me) in the same condition he sent them in. Well there fresh flowers that were opened and cut by the recipient and out in a vase. How can I send them back? I only realised it was not what I had ordered when I came home from work and my partner said these are great.... Shock horror not roses. This company has no telefone number but I have email and warehouse address not thy it's much use!

I will be going to trading standards and advise any one else too as well. It's disgusting how they are getting away with it. I think they just think that because somebody has bought and sent flowers the buyer will probably (and in a lot of cases) not see them so they probably never know they got ripped off!

Does anybody find it odd that the only number they have listed (listed on PayPal too) is the fax number belonging to Dalton Bakeries... same address too: http://www.daltonbakeries.com/

I finally got a blunt reply back (only took them 5 days), after querying why I was charged 75p per order for a PayPal transaction (even though I unchecked the box). Their response was:

Dear Ma’am
As said before, that’s a default charge.

favour.


So I've now received refunds for both missing bouquets. Thank god that's all over with. Will stick to Bunches or Interflora in the future :3

Whatever you do not contact Paypal by phone to discuss the case I did as I was asked to return the flowers for a refund. As soon as Paypal 'realised' they were perishable good they closed the case even though they had decided in my favour the previous day. Apparently Paypal do not cover perishable goods !!!! Now had to contact my card issuer to register a claim............
