This is so annoying because of this deal they removed the blackberry 8520 from the list. :-(

Pulse with cashback should be £124 (with £10 topup needed) , with 6 months free inet is a sweet deal, better than the xmas one when I grabbed one.

Are these unlocked

Edit: just found out from a chat with sales that it costs £5-£10 to unlock depending on handset

good deal and thanks for posting

but nothing really interesting there unless you are after somethng low value

for example, the nokia 5230 is £99. So it would be £80 + £10 talk time after discount which is £90
but from carphonewarehouse its currently £79, to +£10 = £89 with the advantage of being unlocked

as usual, its only the pulse looking interesting for those first time androiders

I got my 5800 from the 33% off sale on T-Mobile site before Xmas and it was a great deal. Got the phone for £97 + £10 topup with £15 TCB. Since then the prices of the phones have shot up and the discount is less. The same phone I bought for £97 in December will be £151 tomorrow.

I'm going to have to vote cold on this.

I'll correct myself, the xmas deal was slightly better. I missed out the cashback on the xmas one (as I still haven't got it yet!)
#11
It's 20% Off in Carphone Warehouse as well and unlocked http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/637692/20-off-lg-gd510-pop-or-samsung-tocc

I got this deal. The pulse was £101 which included £10 top up & I got £15 quidco back so the Pulse only cost me £86 or £76 if you take off the £10 air time.

why is this expired?
#16
Why has this been expired? It hasn't even started yet lol.

At £130 I'm quite tempted in getting a T-Mobile Pulse. Looks good for the price.
#17
It hasn't even started yet! Someone else tryed to post it and that ones been expired too :whistling:
#18
Mmmm, I hope this does happen. The last big thrill ride was the proposed 40% off all payg phones that was in reality "up to 40%" i.e. a couple of quid off their cheapest nastiest offering, so the full 40%, but bog all on the Pulse (one of the very few worth actually having - I have one!)

One poor HUKD person was told the rather saucy £149 for the Pulse had the discount *included* by the T-Mob rep. Total tripe! If this does materialise, then brilliant for all, but I've heated and repped a bad deal in the past so I'm mindful of doing the same until the offer starts and I see it myself.

Anyway, let's hope this one is a flyer, in which case, thanks OP!

good point Carphonewarehouse should be more hot!!!!!!!! http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/637692/20-off-lg-gd510-pop-or-samsung-tocc

NO, guys. You need to pay £15 to get your phone unlocked by t-mobile. It's called a 'subsidy pin', it takes 10-28 days to arrive. It may also mess up the phone, for which they're not liable. I should've got mine done at one of those phone shops :(

The T-Mobile Pulse Mini is coming out in April according to www.pulsemini.co.uk. The site just seems to reiterate what the other sources it refers to says.

yeah looks fun
I want to see it in the flesh
HTC Tattoo can be got for £150 new on ebay now (+£10 to XDA for unlocking) so the pulse-mini will need to be at least 50% less to forgo all the advantages of the HTC support on XDA.

Saying that, the big pulse does have a full size screen. When I flirted briefly with a Tattoo there was hardly any marketplace software available due to the screen res

Pulse mini is a bit of a step down from the Pulse ... from what I've read there's no GPS + screen is resistive rather than capacitive and lower res ... hint here is that it comes with a stylus so they assume that finger control is not possible.

N.b. I think GPS is one of those "I never knew I wanted this on my phone till I got it" features ... way it links in with Google maps, tracks etc is great.

One positive for the mini is that its going to get Android 2.1 ... looks highly likely that Pulse will get an upgrade (Huwaei have demoed the phone with 2.1) but there's been no confirmation of this yet.

Is the HTC Tattoo the Vodafone Magic??

I just like the idea of a compact andriod phone on a good budget though. Can't wait to see the pulse mini.
