I opened the previous deal listing and went to the T-Mo site. I came back and refreshed the deal to see if any comments about the handsets and the page had been pulled.

They obviously pulled the generic one that covered all the offers and allowed a flood of noobs to post each deal individually...strange.....suppose it gets more posts, more hits, more web traffic.....lol

Ok this seems pretty good:

6 months Free Internet on selected phones

1st March to 31st August 2010 .

Join T-Mobile with one of a range of selected pay as you go phones before 31 August 2010 and get 6 months of free internet on your phone.

You'll need to activate your free internet by following the instructions we'll send to your phone before 31 August 2010 . We'll then send you a text to let you know that 6 months has begun. We'll also let you know when your 6 months free internet on your phone runs out.

If you choose a phone that's always connected to the internet, once your free Booster has run out you'll then automatically be charged up to £1 a day to browse the internet unless you buy one of our 30 day or 6 month Boosters. See the legal stuff and fair use policy at www.t-mobile.co.uk/fup.

You'll need internet coverage, check it at t-mobile.co.uk/streetcheck. Remember that you can only use internet on your phone in the UK and you can't use your phone as a modem or use internet on your phone for peer to peer file sharing, or making internet phone calls.

This Booster comes with a fair use policy of 1GB a month. We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use internet on your phone, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much.

So you get 1GB a month with this SIM and then after that it is max £1 per day so handy for occassional use as cheaper than the Broadband Dongle PAYG rate of £2 per day.

You forgot to mention, which is worthy of noting:

Internet on your phone restrictions

Remember that you can only use internet on your phone in the UK.

You can't:

* Use your phone as a modem
* Use it for peer to peer file sharing
* Use it for instant messaging (except if you have a Sidekick)
* Make internet phone calls

Even the monthly data plans don't let you p2p, IM or use Skype. You are meant to pay for a max tariff. These sims will probably restrict data to 385kbps and not HSDPA but for the price it would do me for the odd check of email and surfing when not in a hotspot.

It would just be if you excessively use it that they get suspect. Worse they can do is disable data and you would probably get a few months out of it anyway.

I think the worse they could do is charge you by the MB used! now that would be expensive!

I know what you mean, good for a quick sneaky use, but sods law..... they catch you out and they will make you pay! lol

Yes,I only used it for about 10mins or so,was just testing to see if it would work, haven't used it at all since, not even in a phone,it had free unlimited texts for a month as well on it,not sure if they are still doing that offer,

I'm almost certain it didn't say limited to 1gb when I got it but maybe they have added that as they have discovered people have been using them in dongles,

It was pretty slow but it would do for occasional use

cex give £21 cash for the tmobile vairy touch 2, so i think thats the best to get if you just want the 6 months of internet for a dongle. works out at £13 for the 6 months and the £10 credit.

If you are using the data more than you are allowed T-Mobile write to you to ask you to reduce useage. They can then cap the speed you get. I am not aware of them actually changing the charging tariff. Worst would be that the £10 prepay top up gets used up so not that bad.

The Sony Ericsson W595 is £56 after topup and cashback. It’s free to unlock using software you can freely download and I suggest is a very nice phone for the price; 3G, good Walkman phone. It’s in pink though.
Unlocking details are below and it really is easy:
