Comet are currently doing a promotion where you get 20% off ANY Dyson when you trade in ANY old vacuum cleaner.

A great deal if you are considering buying a Dyson, and it probably works out better than the Argos deal as there is no gift-card involved, this is a straight deduction at the till.

*Please no bad mouthing Dyson like I have seen in another thread, if you don't have anything positive to say, don't say anything at all. I think it really puts a lot of people off posting deals due to all the negativity in certain threads. If you want to buy Miele or Sebo, look elsewhere.*

Offer ends 14th of August.

Argos couldn't work out the gift card on the reduced dyson dc14 all floors £189 so they just knocked the £50 off. Good bargain at £139.

so much for them having it only over the weekend

they look well overpriced to start with - argos appears cheaper on the couple I looked at

Comet never proclaimed that it was only on for the weekend. Someone posted the deal last week and wrongly stated that it was the weekend only.

I work for Comet and all of the POS says that the offers ends of the 14th of August.

I do not know how you can say they are overpriced.

The DC25 Animal is £290 in Argos, so you get it for £240, but that is an Argos giftcard.

At Comet it is £293.59 so you get it for £234.87 with the 20% off, CHEAPER and no gift card.

This is just one of many examples that I have checked.

Anyone know if trading in the old vacuum requires the box and documents?

Nope!

Could you trade in an old handheld vac to qualify for this 20% discount?

I'm not sure Lilmoney, POS says your old vacuum cleaner. I think it would be the stores discretion, give it a try.

All dysons are overpriced pieces of poor quality gimmicky rubbish. I own one and it doesn't even begin to compare with my Henry which only cost £90.
