I got Infinity 2, phone and TV for £33.49 including line rental by logging into my offers (18 month contract). Very happy as I get full speed in my area, however I think price goes up by £2.50 in April. Was on Plusnet before and was getting a quarter of the speed even though a BT engineer installed it.

They own the network, so could afford to undercut everyone else who relies on their infrastructure. Then BT would have a monopoly, and OFCOM won't allow that. So I don't think BT can ever be competitive because of that.

Which BT TV package was included?
Which channels does it offer above freeview/freesat?

Not sure tbh, its supposed to be a "freebie" as it came up as £0.00, but they must've worked it in to the overall price.

Sorry…

There's been a technical error – but you can still place your order online.

got a letter from bt this morning telling me that they're putting up the prices again followed by the word but it's good news! For who?

BT provide a great fibre broadband in my area. The price rises are annoying but if you play the game and call them when your deal is coming to an end they tend to offer a good follow on deal, significantly lower than the std rate. You need to have an alternative supplier and deal in mind that you can use to negotiate against and be prepared to leave if they dont come close. I accept that some areas of the UK may have a slower download/upload speed than others and that some may not be able to afford or have an option of the fibre service but my experience of both BT fibre and BT customer service has been very positive. If you are calling them to negotiate a deal say 'cancellation' when prompted to summarise what the call is about.

There is little difference between Infinity 1 and 2 I agree, more so in the upload speed (9mbps vs 17mbps), the added circa 15mbps download speed I get on average is of minimal or no consequence to my streams. But £14.50 for their top fibre service is excellent value if you can negotiate that price. I used to pay around that for standard broadband, in fact the dreaded dial up in the 90's wasn't much cheaper.

I have to agree with Couponkev, I am currently with BT, having been with Sky and move depending on who gives the best deal. My current BT deal was a retention deal, I just phoned up and said I was looking to move to Sky, this is their offer what can you do! Got what I though was a good deal, with reduced rates and BT Sport. Deal is coming to an end in May, and looks like I will be moving back to Sky currently on prices but would give them a call before doing so.

For your offers: bt.com/myoffer and then log in. They provided the link in their email entitled 'Important changes to your BT services'

Checked my offers and found BT had offered me Infinity 2 up to 80mbps (64mbps guaranteed) for £14.50 per month plus line rental (I pay the saver) if I agree to a new 18m contract. I called them and was able to negotiate a free Infinity Hub 6 if I went ahead (it has been years since they provided a new hub). I was even able to defer the new deal for a couple of months when my current Infinity 1 deal at £10p/m ends

Im paying £51.99 right now out of contract.

Checked my offers. Gave me 8% off my Infinity 3 200mbps package down to £61.49 Inc line rental. Time to phone and moan I think trouble is I'm stuck with the BT ftth service so have little negotiating power.

Do you really need Infinity 3 200mbps? Seems excessive unless perhaps you are running a business.

Infinity 2 package £53 a month with line rental, phoned up they offered me £45 a month with 24month contract, plusnet offering £33 a month for the same package using BT's dark fibre. Woman I spoke to said she couldn't match it but BT are offering new customers 150 quid voucher, so why do existing customers always get ripped off?

(this includes line rental)

Probably not but I had nothing at all for 7 months whilst bt tried to install the fibre so it would've felt wrong to settle for "normal" infinity 2, there was also the 330mbps infinity 4 option that I managed to resist :)

Just screwed BT into a cancellation bluff due to price increase, Did have Infinity 1 (to home) @ £18.00 Fiber to Hme and 21.00 line rental. NOW GOT Infinity TWO and line rental for £5.00 less than previous package, AND a Free Smart Hub (6) 500gb cloud, 18 month contract ( had 16month left on old package). Quite happy...So it still works peeps if you havent tried the Cancellation Call yet. Total now £34.00 pm
