Rubbish service from ebay and co op ended up cancelling both orders and will get my gf to re order

You ordered wrong item, you then tried to use a single use promo code again, on a separate order, and you think THEY are rubbish when you don't get your way! oO

This happens everytime these type of discounts occur - The email receipt shows the full amount, but when you check your bank, you have only been charged the discounted amount.

Surely if that's the case you could take it back for the full amount?

Unfortunately not, I've been charged full price despite eBay mobile screen saying 200. Took a screenshot and wont be a problem getting a refund.

some of the items cost way more than other retailers, so applying the discount still it costs more. not worth it, i'm out.

thanks for the post anyway.

Thanks; been looking for a knob for a Smeg hob and haven't been able to find one (17 years old......) so I bought a new one and used Nectar points saving £65.

EBay only allow physical items to be sold and not services

Hmm, just checked PayPal and looks like they took £299! Transaction shows £249 and then £50? Looks like £50 has been added to the price...don't quite understand what's happening...anyone else?

It's once per Paypal account so even if you have 2 eBay accounts if they use the same PayPal account the limit is one in total.

Ok I just spoke with COOP and they said the missing £50 discount is to do with EBay, not them. I can speak with EBay to try and sort (resolution centre) or COOP will give me a full refund back. Nightmare!
#34
Right. £299 charged but then COOP have paid me (into my PayPal account) £50, so although the amount taken looks like £299 on my PayPal summary, when I go into the transaction itself, the £50 has come back from COOP. Weird way of doing it but basically that's it! 1TB XBone for £250! Job done.

Just ordered a new electric hob, thanks OP

Usually it shows full price on PayPal but if you click on transaction it is broken down, so £249 from your account and £50 them.
