I have only has a PS3 for 2 weeks, is there actually any point in buying these points? They're much like the Xbox ones arent they?.

When deals like this appear, it's definately worth it if you want something from the PSN store. It means that you're likely to be getting something for free as it's £20 card for 16 quid. Trouble is whenever there is something i want, there's no deals about oO
There are some fantastic games on PSN and also some really good DLC.

I ordered three of these last week using a 5 pound off voucher. I didn't realise you could use the SALETEN code on these, which would have saved me 10p a card :) Got an email this morning to say that one of my three cards had been dispatched, but they now appear to be out of stock again.

Will be handy for paying for my DC Universe Online subscription, if Play ever deliver my copy of DCUO :(

Some great games on the PSN - Tetris, Dead Nation, etc.

Like sennasnit said, grab them when you can. They have sales on PSN but most of the time they don't have PSN cards around this price at the same time. They are similar to the Xbox and Wii ones only these are like the iTunes cards and use pounds as currency instead of points.

If there is anything in the PSN store you want then these are the cheapest way to get it as you get £20 of PSN store credit for less then £20. Simples.

I had a PS3 for nearly a year before I bought anything from the PSN store. The Big Surf Island DLC for Burnout Paradise was my first purchase. Since then I have bought a couple of games and signed up to Playstation plus and got 15 months for less than the price of 12 because I used credit from cheap PSN cards from the Hut.

Any one else using playstation plus? Im thinking of getting it. What are peoples opinions?

I have PSN plus and regret it, I bought it back in June and I'm still waiting for something decent. Have a look at the Playstation eu blog to see what Jan and Feb has to offer to see if it's worth it for you. Just cos it doesnt appeal to me doesn't mean it won't for you.

Great price OP heat added.

PS+ is a great deal if you already buy alot of games. They have already offered things like Sam & Max Full Season for free....and all the Fallout DLC for free...which quickly makes it worthwhile. I've made a great saving from it, but alot of others won't feel its worth it due to the content not fully suiting them.

I got access to the Killzone 3 & DC Universe Online betas through Playstation plus. Also got Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for free.

Like I said in my post it totally depends on taste with Playstation plus.

Just for info this is out of stock now.

Don't listen to the guy below. PS+ is absolutely great deal. Comparison with Xbox live where you get sod all for free makes it really worth it but then again it does depend how much you buy from the PSN store and whether you like the idea of being included in betas.
