Ocado currently have cases of 20 x 284ml bottles of Stella Artois reduced to £7.14.
This works out at £1.26 per litre / 71p per pint. This is cheaper than the 3 for £20 offer than other supermarkets sometimes offer, as they all now have packs of 18 bottles, meaning you get 54 bottles for £20 = £1.30 per litre / 74p per pint.
Obviously the trouble with Ocado is that you have to pay a delivery charge, but they currently have an offer for 15% off your first order over £40. This means you could get 6 cases of Stella at a total cost of £42.84, minus 15% = £36.41. Add the delivery charge of £5.49 and you are paying £41.90 for 120 bottles = £1.23 per litre / 70p per pint / 35p per bottle.
This is the proper strength Stella and I think that given that it is in the older packaging it should be 5.2% rather than the 5% they are now selling.
I know they are certain people who can't resist making silly stereotypical comments on any thread that mentions Stella, but the bottom line is that it's a UK brewed premium strength lager and if you like it in bottles, this is the best price you will find.
