Seems like a good deal, but beware that DigitalFAQ lists this type of dye as 'Class 4':
4TH CLASS MEDIA:
Pathetic garbage media, landfill material, about 0-50% success rate. These discs are pretty much only suited for preventing drink cup rings from forming on a table. Most of the time, these are ready-made coasters. If you can actually get a burner to acknowledge the disc, do not expect much. And if the burn actually succeeds, do not be surprised if a DVD-ROM or player chokes on the disc (read/play errors). Cheap prices, cheap junk quality.

IMO id go for the 50 packs of Ritek G05 full white face thermal printable for £6.99. Ive never had any problems with these disks over many many years. Thats just me though.

PS... these are £12.99 for 50 at my local pc shop ;-)

Sorry that class 4 dye is nonsense. I'm not denying that the dye might not be top notch, but (I quote) "0-50% sucess rate" is absolute bull. I've been using CMC MAG, and OPTODISCR08 dye for ages. The OPTODISCR08 dye got a rating of 93% on Neros quality check using my newest NEC drive.

I've been burning 1000s of dvd's over the years. If you want to know if its good use: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia

If you cant find the exact make, search for the dye type ie. CMC MAG.AM3 in this case and see the general feedback from other brands. If they all suck, stay away.

I never buy datawrite. Their yellows destroyed my dvd writer.

I always pay that little extra and go for Taiyos.

Some CMC media is OK, some is awful. I wouldn't take that chance with my data, and I'd rather pay more to be sure I can still read it in a year's time.

Taiyo Yuden all the way for me! :)
Except mini DVD-R. :p

I used to buy Datawrite a few years ago when 4x was the maximum available, now I always buy Ritek - never had a problem with any discs except when you try and burn them at faster than they're supposed to go! (4x discs don't like burning at 8x!)
However, I do have a spindle of really old Datawrite 'grey top' with Fuji dye that I use for very special/important burns - they happen to be the first discs I ever bought too! Really high quality.

Hi
I have checked the fault logs on previous sales and there appears to be nothing listed.

I have checked the sales logs and we have definately sold a lot.

These discs, like all our discs carry a 12 months warranty, so if you do get problems we will swop them out.

If you need any other information please let me know.

Happy New Year.

Simon
