Can't see how they will tbh. Without doubt its a hot deal for the buyer, but the producer.... Unless the place selling it is taking a huge financial loss:thinking:

From where?!
400g bars are £2.48 in Tesco so if you can tell me where to buy 1kg bars for £1 I'd be very very happy....................

Am hovering over the payment details page....

I really dislike this site, all the fairtrade stuff, money for farmers and that... But the prices are high, and as they can afford 10% quidco, they mustbe raking a fortune playing the "fairtrade" tag....

To be honest, the paper/posters ect will be in the bin as they arrive, and for only 960g of chocolate with all the wastage I think people would be better off getting a bar of galaxy for £1, probably more of the £1 will go to the cocoa region for that than the fairtrade stuff.

Not going to vote on this one, as it kinda defeats the object of the site, as most of the product is wastage.

Yes I couldn't agree more............UN ethical....BUT I thought the idea here was that WE the consumer got a good deal.

Granted the ft farmers will get nowt from this, so lets get OUR moneys worth from the money grabbers (allegedly :whistling:) trading on the ft badge.

EDIT: I also paid an additional £1 to offset the postage carbon footprint, how 'Green' is that

We (me) get 2kgs of tastey choc for a tenner, my concience is clear, is theirs ???

Sorry my mistake, it has been a long day. I thought the large bars (£1-£1.20) price are 1KG..

I was wrong, this makes this deal HOT.

Voted HOT and ordered, also it is nice to allow the kids to have some chocolate after tea and not a huge bar.

When we have a huge 200g bar in, and decide to have some, it never gets put back in the fridge half eaten.. IT ALL HAS TO BE SCOFFED.. lol.

Thanks for the deal, and 10% quidco also. makes it £4.50.

Now OOS :-(

Couldn't agree more 'half eaten bar' and 'chocolate' should never be in the same sentence..............these bars will be great for making up easter treat bags for my children's friends aswell!

19 Feb 2008 16:41:11 ZeroPointZero 4.26 0.34 tracked ~ May 2008

Tracked comes as a funny company name, and tracked without VAT like most.
Anyways, every little helps. Thanks to the op.

Yes my box was sitting in my porch when I got home with my son at lunchtime. I'm passing the postcards on to my mum as she hasn't got internet access so has to do all of her competitions and giveaways by post. The 'chocolate makes the world go round' message will be spread to every craft magazine she has.................! I was surprised to see that the chocolate is the same tub as the one they sell for £20 on the website. The sample box of cereal looks quite yummy aswell!

Got mine today, in the fridge.
Considering what they are, I did feel really guilty tossing the cards, leaflets and posters in the recycle bin... But hey, what can I do?
