EDIT: You can no longer add the unlimited £3 add on as three have stopped allowing this. Please ignore all references to Unlimited data below.

YOU CAN ADD UNLIMITED DATA TO THIS PLAN FOR £3pm EXTRA* = £9.90pm (via phone- confirmed via Customer Support)

Don't forget £50 cashback via Qudico!!!! = theoretical £2.74pm (or £5.74pm with AYCE add On)

PLEASE READ:

Three have revamped their sim only deals and are doing some good deals for low end users. You can now get:

200 mins/5000 texts/500mb data for £6.90 on a 12 month contract. (+ 3 to 3 calls for existing customers)

The standard deal comes with 500mb but as stated above you can ring up Customer services after taking the contract out and activate the AYCE add on for £3pm taking the price to £9.90pm

You can buy the deal online WITH £50 CASHBACK via qudico / phone and then ring up customer services to add the ayce data. i'd recommend that anyone who want this deal confirm through CS that the £3 add on can be activated after you take out the contract. I've already done this twice and got the same answer but this way you can cancel the contract (mis-selling/distance cancellation policy) if three suddenly change their mind about letting people do this. But if you want the 500mb data one then this is still the best sim only deal out there at the moment for the price. Obviously there are better contract deals etc... but this is for if you already have a phone/

UPDATE:
-I have been told by customer services twice that the AYCE data can be added for £3pm via customer services on the phone.

-I have been told by the online chat team (see link below) that you can add it on.
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/200-mins-5000-texts-500mb-data-6-90pm-add-ayce-3pm-50-quidco-2-74pm-three-1289337?page=5#post15274608

-Robjw_2001 who has taken this tariff with Three has confirmed that the AYCE data add on can also be added via My3 online as well as over the phone. see below>
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/200-mins-5000-texts-500mb-data-6-90pm-add-ayce-3pm-50-quidco-2-74pm-three-1289337?page=2#post15292518

-Three Twitter have confirmed it can added as well:
https://twitter.com/ThreeUKSupport/status/237585255744282624
________________________________________________________________________________
*There are two types of AYCE add ons. One is £3pm and gives you unlimited data. You cannot remove this add on until the end of the contract term (12 months)
The second one is £5pm and gives you AYCE unlimited data for 30 days, this can be removed and added whenever you need it. (this is better for people who rarely use 500mb and want to stay on the £6.90pm version.

YOU CANNOT TETHER ON THIS PLAN (according to Three UK).
-Only the One Plan sim only/contract (£25pm+) will allow you to have unlimited data and unlimited tethering.
-There is no fair use policy on the AYCE add on for this tariff. You can do as much downloading/streaming/browsing as you want.
-You can cap this account so you will not be able to use any services out of allowance and the monthly cost will always be at £6.90/£9.90

Please don't compare giffgaff to 3, Giffgaff boast unlimited internet when in actual fact there's a 1gb hourly limit, if you go over this limit, you are likely to be banned. Their forums are terrible, be prepared to be spammed by the same comments just for the payback. Finally when you manage to speak to an agent be prepared to wait a good week before they reply back to you. All in all giffgaff is **** and I'm warning people who love their strong 3G and internet connections not to downgrade to Giffgaff.

Good deal, perhaps all those, 3 network is no good, etc, etc, can try it again, it was poor, but has got better, for the area where I live, its the best (and for me was the cheapest) and I tried all the networks on PAYG, to test my signal, and at £9.90 with all you can eat data, brilliant, hot from me. (Rant over). I cannot find this at £9.90, appears to be £12.90 from your link, can you check
OK now found the deal as an add on, will give it a go tomorrow.

for a start its £9.90 a month with AYCE data on a 12 month sim only plan, £12.90 for a 1 month sim only plan and I hate seeing GiffGaff brought up on every sim only deal, I'm with GiffGaff and I can honestly say that my internet speed is terrible even though my friend is on O2 and theirs is better even at the same place, its good for those who need a lot on a budget bt with this you get everything but the free giff gaff to giff gaff calls which not surprising really but I dont really know many people on Giff gaff so it is in my opinion a better deal unless you want to change your deal every month.

Not only Giff Gaff. Another deal available previously here

Three are confirmed on hot deals as the worst network to be with. I left them after over 10 years of being a customer and I left because their service became so poor. Not only would I lose signal inside any building but the customer service was poor too. It wasn't this bad before. Virgin media have good sim only deals but my experience tells me a few pounds extra is usually well spent if you are happy with the network. Three may be ok for some but I think it's not for most
#8
3 are ok. I get signal 95% of the time around town and home. Internet is a bit hit and miss but mostly ok if you give it a minute or move slightly.

I think I'll be taking this deal up. My contract with them ends in a month :)

Cheers OP

I confirmed with three that they can add it over the phone only. I'm an existing customer so not sure if its retention or if new customers can get it too. Pretty sure its open for all as three have been running the +£3pm for ayce for a while

In that case, still a good deal and cheaper than Giffgaff, no point in unlimited texts if 5000 is enough, and I tried Giffgaff and had a really poor signal, most of the time in anycase.

adding the unlimited data online takes it up to £12.90. So as the OP says.... it's a phone them up deal

Like I said, the online website deal state:

You've selected Essential Internet SIM 200 12 months.
For an extra £6 a month you could upgrade to Ultimate Internet SIM 200 1 month – giving you 200 minutes, 5,000 texts and all-you-can-eat data.

The OP has stated to get the 'ayce' for £3 it's via telephoning!

As a current user of Giff Gaff, I urge you not to listen to these morons who say their deals are better, my phone loses signal consistently, internet speed is ridiculously slow and I dont think I've been able to stream a video on it yet and overall it's not a very pleasant experience to be with them and the only reason I am is because I can't get another PAYG as I'm waiting for my contract. What you technically get from Giff Gaff is very good but be warned you have to sacrifice a lot to get it, if you are more interested in data like me this is a much better deal.

yes but that's a 24 month contract which can't really be compared to this deal and I'd rather have the unlimited data than a cheap phone.

No problem mate aha. It can just get annoying when people post stuff without reading the description (happened in my previous deals sometimes)

I rang them about this today. They said they were aiming to get more market share in SIM only as they only hold 13% share in the market. Well chuffed as this is exactly what I needed :)

£50.50 cashback from Topcashback

Topcashback hasn't been updated to reflect the new SIMO plans
The £50.50 cashback is for The One Plan and the Essential Internet 500 plan.
This deal is for the Essential Internet 200 plan, which isn't listed on TCB ...

Am I missing something here?
#36
Can someone help me find the cashback entry for this (new) SIM200 tariff on TCB? I can see lots of cashback offers for different Three tariffs, including the old SIM300, but I can't see anything for SIM200? Have tried Firefox and Chrome but just can't seem to find it? Thx for any help....

The TCB one is the second one down in the link above.

The One Plan One Month Rolling/12 Month Contract - £50.50

^Actually now that i look at that its a bit ambiguous as to whether they mean 12 month with handset or 12 month sim only or the one plan on a 12 month sim only

There's no cashback available. User must've been mistaken, I checked earlier :L

The TCB one is the second one down in the link above.

It should say The one plan sim only/12 month sim only - £50.50

The one plan is 3 networks premium package. Not this budget bundle.

I do apologise about that. Seem to have got a bit confused myself. I'll remove it from the title.
