These cards are normally difficult to find with a discount and £9.85 is about as cheap as it gets when they come up on a deal. I use these for my DSi, enjoy. (it says Usually despatched within a month but last time it said that i got mine within the week. EDIT got my despatch email just 1 day after ordering)
Quidco tracks at 20p which theoretically brings the price of each card down to around £9.65.

Dont work for 3DS :(

Seems like a deal to me, next cheapest I've seen was £13 and how much do Nintendo charge directly via the Wii - £20? Have some heat! ;)

decent brand - check
decent specs - check
decent discount - yes
value for money - yes
heat added - yes

Brilliant deal, if these would work on the 3DS I would've bought a dozen. Unfortunately I already have like 7000 points saved up on my Wii from previous deals, which were not nearly as good as this one.

Great Price, just did a quick Google and Play was £15, HMV £17.99

HOT HOT HOT

I should check my balance, I've not bought anything off the Wii store for aaaaaggggeeeeesssss!

dispatched within a month means they dont have any stock
if they get it then you will be sent it but if they never get it you will be left hanging indefinitely.
if these are discontinued with the 3ds release there is probably a chance either there will be very few or they just wont get it at all.
good price though

(2000points were 14quid via wii)

It's possible they will, but unlikely.
eShop will use "cash cards" and cash values.

which donkey kong?

hot for wii owners

Due to Wii and DSi content being linked to the console and not a universal account like with XBLA and PSN, I've never wanted to buy anything. Hopefully the 3DS system will be better and tied into the outside help that Nintendo are getting with the online features of Project Cafe, the 'Wii 2'.
#22
Excuse my ignorance with these points I can buy new games via my wii console?

Yes, they have a selection of older console games, entirely new games and fun mini games available via the online shop. :)

I particularly enjoyed Super Mario Kart (SNES classic) and Mario Kart 64 (Nintendo 64 classic) although they look shocking on large modern TV's but still tremendous fun IMHO.

i will be getting sonic 4 and maybe excite bike, it looks fun
#26
I was tempted by these, but surely these will drop and drop in price as the Wii sales dry up. The points cards aren't going to be used with the 3DS or Wii 2, so surely these will drop to nothing eventually...right?!

Maybe, but the Wii has had a price drop to lift sales and the DSi is still going strong

er why? they wont make these indefinitely so availablity will dry up alongside any drop in demand.
supply and demand ratio remains and hold price.
#29
Great price, thanks have some heat.
#30
Ordered and heat added. Hydroventure, Super Mario World or Cave Story here i come.

Usually dispatched within a month

WHAT?!
Also on Zavvi but appears as sold out.

I'm still unhappy at them for deleting my star points.

Just received an email saying that my order has been dispatched.
Can't wait to buy me some Foo Fighters DLC on Rock Band! :)

My 2 cards arrived today 4 days after ordering.

My two cards arrived today.

They are the old style card, in cardboard sleeves, and are only labelled "Wii Points"

Does anyone know if these can still be redeemed on the DSi Store as Nintendo Points? I only really want them for the DSi, and don't fancy scratching off the foil to test them, if they aren't likely to work. I'm an old hand with the Wii, but have only very recently invested in a DSi XL (trading up from a DS Lite), hence my n00bness.

Thanks in advance.
