I meant the Hyundia dealers must be running low on nearly-new (I.e. up to 12months/10k) stock on the forecourt. If lots of people take this offer up it could have quite a nasty effect on the residuals.

As in what i am in saying is you can "trade in" your top of the range Hyundia for the bottom of the range Hyundia and it will cost you £499.

What?

The idea is you swap yours + money for an exact same 10-reg model. They are not giving you a base model in exchange.

When all the post-scrappage deals are published, this won't seem anything special.

Their new scrappage offer will no doubt be par of the course. The "Happy Returns" scheme will be mega hot for existing owners.
