Can you direct me to where it says less than 100 miles? I'm not trying to catch you out, just interested in the deal.

Sorry OP but where does it say less than 100 miles, all I see is a banner saying under 9000 miles?

    Um great minds? :)

    Seems so :D

Looks like a good deal at >100 miles, they are over 8k at my local dealers from what I can see (they don't tend to give up the cash price easily these days..?)

spent more than this on a 08 plate GT model with 28k on the clock! bargain

Voucher says clip scrappage and also expired 31st August :/

Well its gone hot but is it a deal??

    This deal doesn't even exist.
<9k miles is the offer, which isn't remotely close to 'nearly new'.

you also have to give another car to get the 2k off, This is a very poor deal cold.

All offers are subject to terms and conditions. Renault Retail Group reserve the right to change or cancel offers without notice. £2000 scrappage voucher is only redeemable when your old car is used as part exchange against the very nearly new 12 plate Renault Clio available in the scrappage offer. Your scrappage car must be taxed and MOT’d. Scrappage voucher can be used on selected cars only. Non-Transferable.

What's the catch with this scrappage thing? As if it's genuinely just anything going in for scrap, the

    Renault Mégane Coupé Dynamique

    TomTom TCe 130

    seems an exceptional price.
    xp3200
As above the scrappage car needs to be taxed and have an mot

These are not really a good deal as the cars are a year old and have 9k on the clock or under.

Go buy one and regret it. Renault always going wrong. The worst car I have owned in forty years of driving. Make sure you have plenty of repair money.

In my experience Renauly have been best cars I have owned ...... my scenic had (2000) has 150k on clock and drives beautifully with very little maitenance, Clio before hand was same and have just bought a grand scenic which I love. Have previously had nightmares with Rover, Vauxhall, VW to name a few.

ZARGONE couldn't agree more. Renault = nightmare. Start saving now for repairs and expect lots of sleepless nights with worry and despair.

I agree about Renault - poor quality, just having new gearbox in my low mileage Nissan Qashqai (Renault engine/gearbox).

I saw this advert in yesterday's Evening standard newspaper where it specifically stated many cars <100 miles. This thread is not expired!

Just waiting on a call back about the Megane. The dealer I spoke to said they were ex dealer stock (so I imagine courtesy cars, demonstrators, manager's privilege etc) but that the offer's been on a for a couple of weeks so depends what's in stock.

Did the scrap-page scheme not end in 2010?
    knocik
It took someone less than 100 miles to decide that it is a sh.. car? :)
