£11.95 @ Base.com
As above really. I know base.com is doing them at £12.75 but with only 4% Quidco, bringing the price down to £12.24 If voting cold, at least have some courtesy and explain why. Thanks Read More

I ordered and voted hot; but asking for explanations for cold votes tends to result in...cold votes.:whistling:

Isn't it strange how companies always put the price up not long after a deal is submitted on this site ? They must be members on here!

Fair enough about the Tesco deal. I searched all the Tescos - normal, Direct and Jersey as i remember there being a cheapish deal on there, but didn't find anything.

They're for buying things in the Wii shop. If you're Wii isn't connected up to the internet then they won't be much use to you. One of the first things you'll need to buy is the Opera browser which is 500 points. After that you can spend them on Wiiware (old games off previous consoles).

Not entirely accurate, you don't need to buy the Opera channel to visit the online shop as it's not done via an internet browser even though it's internet based.
Secondly Wiiware is, on the whole, original content designed specifically for the Wii. A couple of exceptions being Defend your Castle and Dr Mario, but these have been updated to take advantage of the Wii. What you are referring to when you say about 'old games off previous consoles' is the Virtual Consoles content you can purchase, which are 99% untouched games from older consoles ie exactly the same graphics etc.
I'm not going to vote hot or cold as i've not really looked into prices of Wii points because, as always, there are ways around having to purchase these things (here is not the place to discuss that though)

Please tell me your ways around things Moonmonkeys. Any way to save pennies is great with me.
