Don't forget Quidco, folks.

There's a shed load of extra HD-DVD's cropped up on hmv today (the warner ones) at mainly 4.99, don't know if theres a seperate thread about it but there should be!

Well, that's good, but I don't have a BD player...and I'm not about to go spend £200 on one just so I can then spend £1 more getting 2001 on BR instead of HD.

great price for what is probably the best disc on HD-DVD - well this or blade runner anyway!!

don't always have a poop at people putting up other suggestions. i've checked out this thread siomply cos i like the movie. i don't have an hd-dvd player or a blu-ray one, but i'd still prefer, in the context of this being a forum, if people let me know about other similar deals out there.

Thing is, this is a HD-DVD thread, not a BD thread. VeryVery isn't putting across other suggestions (if he were, he'd have at least posted a link to the BD version for £8). He's trolling, pure and simple. He's been doing it on all the HD-DVD threads. Try doing a search to see if there's a history behind this before commenting and taking things at face value.

Why look at a thread that is of no relevance to you?

Play.com has it for £4.99 now, oh well...not worth sending it back to dvd.co.uk for the sake of a couple of quid...but it does seem like stocks and shares with HD DVD bargains at the moment!

Snapped up Pans Labyrinth and Mulholland Drive for £8 each and now I cannot see them for under £15 each....and yet bought Corpse Bride for £8 and now can get that for £5, and bought Bourne trilogy for £17.99 and cant find that now for less than £35.

Its either take the gamble that the prices will drop further or risk losing out on a HD DVD that then increases in price due to stocks being rare.

Wished I could find The Elephant Man somewhere for a fiver.
