This offer is for a 2007 Silverstone British Grand Prix Ticket for 1 person but for every ticket you order, they will provide you with a health club pass for 2 which they sell for £20 absolutely free (this is already an xmas present for someone in my family).

They actually sell 1 ticket for £99 or for 2 people at £198 (so there isn't any savings there for buying for 2 people at once) but as i stated earlier, you will receive the health club tickets for every ticket, so the single ticket is the best saving.

Also make sure to use the discount code (843843) to receive a 25% discount bringing the price down to £74.25 and go through Quidco to receive an additional 10% cashback of at least £7.43 (i say at least because they gave me more than the 10% cashback with my order last week) which brings the total down to £66.82 or maybe even less for the entire package :)

Let me know if you liked the deal by leaving comments, voting the deal as hot and if leave me positive rep if you think it's deserved.

Thank you and i hope you found this info helpful :)

This entire package works out at £119.00 through this website, who promise to give you a 150% refund if you find a cheaper price elsewhere, so rest assured, this is the best price and along with the special offer, discount voucher and Quidco, you're saving over £52.00 with this package for each Silverstone ticket.

This is what Buyagift states regarding the offer:

For every Grand Prix 2007 ticket that you buy, we will give you a free health pass for two people, courtesy of Marriott. Your free Health Club Pass for two people will be automatically added and despatched with your order.

Thanks realfriendlyman.

I ordered two singles as you suggested with the discount code and through Quidco.

They'll make a great Christmas pressie for a motor racing nut!

Heat and Rep Added.

Thanks a lot for the heat and rep mate, i really appreciate it, it's just a shame i ordered the health pass for 2 people last week, I know my father would of loved to have gone to Silverstone...... i may order it anyway and get some more health pass tickets, you can never have too many :)

The Health Pass seems an even better deal, as it states that if you join the leisure club on the day of your visit, you won't require to pay the membership joining fee.

P.S has the Quidco come in immediately like it did for me last week, if so, is it showing more than the 10% you're supposed to receive?
#4
So will this ticket get you in to watch the Race on Sunday??
#5
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a Buyagift voucher valid for entry on all three days (6th - 8th July 2007), for one person.

Entry for all the days :-D
#6
why are these tickets so cheap, surely the tickets are usually more expensive than £100 each for 3 days?

Hi mate,

By clicking on the link, it shows the tickets are for between 6th-8th of june 2007 but it's better to be save than sorry by booking early and also to get these additional discounts.

If there's anything else you need to know, click on the link and scroll down to the bottom of the item you want to buy, which will show you all the terms and conditions etc.

Yes it has!

Validated already at £9.04 (12%) for each ticket bringing it down to £66.30. Excellent value!

But like someone has already said, race day is about £200 on its own normally, it just doesnt sound right!!

This is the full details provided by this website, which i know are definately reliable, as i've used them myself just last week and they immediately paid out the cashback commission:

agenda - On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a Buyagift voucher valid for entry on all three days (6th - 8th July 2007), for one person. Once you have received your voucher you must contact Silverstone to redeem it. You will need to send them your Buyagift voucher and they will then send your race tickets. Silverstone despatch Grand Prix tickets around 2-4 weeks before the event. We recommend that you send them your voucher using Recorded Delivery as Buyagift cannot be held responsible for lost vouchers. When you call Silverstone it will be possible to upgrade to Grandstand seats if you wish, at a further cost.

notes - This ticket includes a roving seat (subject to availability) on Friday 6th July and general admission for Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July 2007. This ticket does not include access to Luffield Terrace or Copse Terrace.

I hope that's helpful :)
#11
What does Roving seat mean?
#12
Now i see its just a general admission ticket..
£99 from everywhere else so not bad at all!!
#13
I went to the Silverstone GP in either 96 or 98 (cant remember the year exactly), but it was my first time at a racing event and I still treasure those fond memories of hearing a real F1 engine for the first time in real life, and getting up close to Ralf S. as he spinned off on a practice lap ;)

Ahh... if Santa brings me some cash it's going towards this!
#14
Can anyone comment on what these seats are like, as i've never been to a Grand Prix?
If these tickets are £99 everywhere, you have to admit, getting a third off and also receiving an extra bonus off being at a spa for 2 completely free is an absolute bargain (which they sell for £20).

woohoomoo

That's exactly why i'm now considering buying this for my father, as his xmas present, as he has a triumph motorbike that was made in the middle of the 20th century and he just loves reving the engine, regardless of whatever mood he may be in, it always brings a smile to his face.

The roving seats on the friday means that a few of the cheaper grandstands ar open and its just take any seat you like. For saturday and sunday, its general admission, which means you can sit around about 75% of the track but NOT in any of the grandstands, so it means bring your own seat and find some where to sit on the grass/banks. SIlverstone have been running the offer for a couple of years, that if you purchase a sunday general admission ticket before end of Jan then you get free admission to friady and saturday.

When you call Silverstone it will be possible to upgrade to Grandstand seats if you wish, at a further cost.

I doubt you will be able to do this as the grandstands normally sell out pretty fast and there will be very very few if any grandstand tickets left 4 weeks before the race.

It is definitely and experience anyone who is interested in F1 should have, seeing 22 cars blast past you at full speed is awesome (plus very deafening)
#16
Thanks for the advice MTHORPE30, you've cleared up a lot of the questions and i know this will be a perfect weekend for a lot of people and then a nice relaxing day in spa will be the perfect compliment to the package :)
#17
anyone found any decent hotels nearby that are not already booked up? would love to buy this as christmas pressie but need to do more hotel research...

thanks to the op

Hi TraceyJ,

I appreciate the thanks for alerting you of this deal, as long as you have a great time, that's thanks enough for me..... some positive rep wouldn't be bad either :p

By the way, if you're looking for a hotel around there, try a website called www.hotels.com this site is supposed to be the cheapest hotel operator in the world (can save upto 75% off compared to booking at the hotel directly) and they also have a pricematch guarantee, so you know you're in good hands.

Don't forget to also go through Quidco, who will pay you £10 for every hotel booking made through them :)

Hope you found that helpful

Some bits might have, but have a look at the link below, as its got all the prices for the race tickets. Terrace seats start from £139 for all three days and grandstand seats are from £179. Ive only ever had general admission, so I cant comment on whether the extra money is worth it. General admission is definetly good if you know exactly where you want to be on sunday and you get there early and head straight for your spot, you can get a good view.

This sounds a great deal ! Just thought I would add, you can purchase Car Park Tickets through Ticketmaster @ £15.00 per Car.
#22
Please advise how you "Go through quidco"... I have been on the deal, and actually bought the silverstone tour for my dad, however, when I went to pay nothing came up about quidco.

I want to buy a couple of these tickets for my boyfriend's xmas present, but may as well get the quidco discount, but dont know how to get it...

You help is much appreciated.

Thanks

you have to sign up to quidco and go through their site to the site you wish to purchase from, they then track your order back to apply any cashback :)

Sorry, I haven't been around for some time and I don't remember this system previously!! apologies for my ignorance

I have used hotels.com previously via quidco, was just looking for a recommendation from someone who might have a particularly nice hotel in mind, have found one 30 miles away but will look for something a bit closer (although most seem booked up now!)

Think I'll look for a hotel before deciding whether or not to buy GP tickets.

Does that cover parking for the whole weekend?

The ticketmaster site doesn't seem to be very clear.

Thank you so much  I have been looking for a present for my husband for christmas and I have now found it. Just ordered two tickets. This is great thanks once again :):) Do you know a site near for the motorhome?

If you go on to the silverstone (.co.uk) website and then look for the link to accommodation, there's a list of campsites.
#28
If your looking to buy 2 tickets then just buy 1 now and everything is delivered in a day or 2 but they always seem to give a £5 voucher (gift card) and a coupon for £5 so use these for the second ticket next week:thumbsup:
#29
When I went to Silverstone that year it wasnt really seats. There were different places of 'rank' (cant think of a better word). If you had a VIP pass you could go to the inner circle. If you had the standard tickets then you could sit at one of the stands or stand pretty much anywhere around the outer track.

That was well over 8 years ago now though - it could have changed. The best people to ask about this though would be the reception or whatever it is at Silverstone if you were able to acquire a number.

Not sure if this £99 ticket is a one or 2 day event, but when i went we got the Qualifying on Saturday and the Race on Sunday. It was a pair of tickets my uncle got for his 40th and he delightfully asked me to go - as far as i remember they were standard tickets.

It's not just the racing there either ;) There's the pit babes and other scantilly clad lovelies parading around at the car displays (which is the real reason all men go to these events!), there are the countless car exhibitions, there are stalls in their hundreds to get some freebies, buy gifts etc... And there are usually some 'fun' events too such as quad racing (it's not professional... you pay whatever it is for 10mins etc).

Be warned... take ear plugs and take your own beverages! When i was there it was £2 for a standard can of coca cola and it was £3 for a bottle of water. Everything is extortionately overpriced.

My teenage son finally started his 1st part time job so these tickets will do nicely as a present (to me aswell for being so patient lol).

Hi Kerfootuk and welcome to the site :)

As it states in the original post and on the link, the voucher is for each order of silverstone, so if you only ordered a single ticket, you'll receive the 2 health spa tickets as well.

So you have nothing to worry about and the way you actually ordered it is the way i recommended it.

Thanks again - I received a reply to my query from buyagift confirming the spa voucher would be included so I have just booked another single ticket to get another spa voucher! Looking forward to a great weekend and the wife can enjoy a day in the spa with her friends.

Hi again mate,

That's a really thoughtful gift mate, i think your wife and friends are going to think you're the most generous man in the world, let just hope they don't always expect it from now on

I ordered the spa tickets for my sister and her fiance prior to the silverstone deal being offered and with all the stuff included, i think it's worth a lot more than £20 for 2 people and they also have a Magic Bullet Blender coming there way too.
#36
I took the plunge in the end and ordered two single tickets, arrived the next day and the health spa vouchers could be presents in themselves the way they are presented

Thanks again to realfriendlyman :p

Great deal,

I have just bought six tickets for the lads using this code! I have saved over 150 quid on cost price, 6 tickets for the spa days which sweetens all of the wag's and on going through quid co it looks like I have made another 50 quid back!

It just doesnt get cheaper than this. So it's working out somewhere around 68 quid per person per ticket. Amazing and all of the lads are thrilled! Just need to find somewhere to stay now. Does anyone know of a good place to stay, camp site, caracan site or anything???

Cheers again mate!
