i know this will get cold votes for its price but this is the rolls royce of mountain bikes and obviously a niche market . i have never seen such a sexy beast of a bike as this ( zoom the image on site) if only i had couple of grand spare!!!

I really don't understand why people vote cold, this is an amazing bike at a great price. Cold voters, explain?
#2
At that price I'd at least expect mudguards & a basket on the front!

you could always have a tescos bag hanging off each handle bar to save on buying a basket for it X)

Cold voters, explain?

They maybe thinking 'I can get the quivalent bike for my needs, at a fraction of the price' ?

'for my needs' meaning getting them from A to B for a couple of months then gathering dust & rust in the shed !!
#7
i was going to ask about the bell too!!!! Has it got one....?

don't bikes have to be sold with a bell by law....?
#9
As funny as it sounds, it should actually have a bell- I think it's the law or something for all bikes to be sold with bells and reflectors. I could be wrong though.

Great bike, but honestly it's a waste of time posting a decent bike here, unless it's a £49 or less deal no one gets it.
I just bought a 2010 Kona Paddy Wagon today for £350 which is a fantastic price but didn't see the point in posting it.

You pays your money and gets your choice...bought a ltd edt boardman carbon for £1000 earlier this year and has to be the best value for money bike I ever bought, rides like a dream and matches bikes twice its price.

If thats your thing fair enough.A top bike would be wasted on my bike skills :>(.

Don't forget your 2% quidco too.

Nice bike, out of my price range tho. Heat added.

OMG, stunning bike. Love Cube bikes - was looking for a decent priced Ltd Pro last year and missed the boat. Can't afford this one, but it is the dogs.
#20
Nice bike but way over my needs. I paid £600, which at the time I thought was a lot, for my bike many years ago and the blasted thing has been stolen more times than I have rode it. Still has the little rubber strands / nipples on the tyres.

Is this why bikes are considered Sexy - nipples on the tyres!!

bought my bike over 10yrs ago for same sort of price and it still rocks pure quality
#24
Looks like a great deal but whatever you do, don't buy this thing then just ride it on the road. That would be a huge waste of money.
#25
£2k for a bike? As Inspector gadget would say "wowzers"

mmmm i want a new bike. Would love a LaPierre Zesty. Shame its out of my budget

Watched a girl buckle over the handlebars at Glentress the other week on a brand new zesty, nearly broke my heart
#28
My car costs less than this.

I give up on life.
#29
How much, FFS ????????????????????? oO
A biking fan I presume ?
#30
nobby nics are a cracking tyre. pressure dependant, but lovely.

4 out of my 11 bikes cost more than my car. Lol. its not a hobby...............................

The local 'Bike' round here is far more sexy, quite a bit cheaper, and she doesn't rust if left out in the rain!
#32
Gaudy, but a great confidence-booster for the clinically insecure

I work at Glentress :)

Never ridden a Cube bike, but this IS a good deal for those into their mountain biking. I would urge caution buying a multi-pivot bike in the UK though as the weather conditions here (especially Scotland!!) requires at least one annual bearing replacement, which on Cube's / Lapierre's is an expensive afterthought.

Orange 5 is your best bet for UK trails - British made for British conditions and pretty much bombproof :)

Cold, this is HUKD and nobody here would have the spare cash for that, if they did they wouldn't be reading this forum. As you mention Rolls Royce, if I found a new rolls with the same % saving, it would not get much heat
#35
my wife kill me if i spend 2 grands for bike
#36
For that price I would expect it to make my dinner breakfast and clean house for me. I could never justify paying that price for a bike. A car maybe at least the whole family could go for a day out lol.

looks the same as the one i got at halfords for £69.95

u are talking shiite people with cash are more prudent than those without i was in local convenience store and this guy buys 4 cans of lager for £6 he could get 24 in asda for £9 but thats a mile away.
#39
There was a day when i spent £500 on a set of bike wheels, some people don't appreciate how expensive a good bike really is, THAT SAID if i was buying a bike for £2000 i wouldn't want any shimano crap anywhere on it

haven't voted either way

gonna mortgage me one!
