im hoping £25 ish

Is this not just a duplication of your deal 2 minutes before...

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/665790/an-extra-5-discount-on-2010-fifa-wo

Just worded slightly differently?

i honestly dont see the point in these world cup games. Always seems a bit of a con and fad to me! not voting hot or cold tho
#7
Yes I agree, what do you get that you don't get in FIFA 10? Apart from the tournament format I guess? Thirty quid for that might be considered a tad steep.
#8
I'll wait till the cup is over, when they are giving this away!
#9
No need to wait that long, just till England get knocked out ;-)
#10
These games will never live upto Fifa 98 Road to the World Cup, the all time king of Fifa games. Even good on the N64. Still very tempted.

I agree its still overpriced for a glorified add on to fifa but why would you want it after the world cup. the point of these games to me is a build up of excitment to the world cup and alot of play during world cup.

best deal i have seen yet but im gonna hold out for morrisons or asda selling for 25. if not i may spend the 30 but very reluctant to

heat
#12
Im waiting for the Supermarket release day price...see if it hits £25ish.

If not, I dont mind waiting a few weeks, seeing as the World Cup is still a month and a half away
#13
And yet more people questioning the differences between FIFA 10 and this game (i.e. the people who have yet to play the demo, let alone the actual game).

Best price around though, shame its a little late.
#14
And your point is? I generally find questioning what content a game may have is always better done with games you haven't played. Questioning what the content might be of a game you have played would be ridiculous.

spot on m8.. no point in buying after the tournament is over, its just doesnt feel right. was playing the demo the other night and i really did get a sense of excitment with it 6 weeks away.

read elsewhere that asda might have this at £25 and that other supermarkets may follow suit. dunno whether anyone can confirm this?

also theres a good chance you'll be able to recoup some of ur money (esp if the £25 rumour is correct) straight after the WC if u take it into cex.

Does think expire at midnight, i.e. does the code still work or is it preorder only. Also will they likely change price on release?

Anyone found anywhere to beat this deal yet? As seems low in temp considering £35-40 everywhere else and there's been no indication from the Supermarkets of a release day special!
#17
From what I've read on other forums, it looks as if the super markets are waiting for each other to make a move, so it looks like we'll have to wait until midnight and see what happens.

I'll be tempted if it's £25 or less, but anything else is too much tbh.

Agreed
#19
I saw it on here for £25 at Morrisons?
#20
waiting until the world cup is over to buy it...sad - and not what buying the game now is about.
#21
its gone back upto £34.99!!!
#22
my bad ... didnt read the bit about the code!

agreed...cant believe they are expecting people to pay full price for a very similar game to 10 that was onlt release abouth 6mths ago....shame on EA...this should have been £20 tops...im interested but i rarely pay more than £20 for games...not when i can get as good or better PC games including same ones for a pittance <£5
