It's certainly a good price for a 360 with hard drive, but the hard drive is pretty small, and there's NO chance of finding out what chipset from a company like Buy It Here.

Take it or leave it, I guess, but it seems like a good price to find out what the 360's about without getting your wallet singed too bad.

very tempted to buy one at this price!

I wouldn't risk these actually. Clearly stated they have been returned by customers and tested to see if working. Why would they do this unless they had been returned used by customers - which makes you wonder why they were returned...

Catalogue shops cannot sell anything as new that has been returned by a customer, that is why there are catalogue shops in some towns, the returned consoles would probably get sent back to the shop then get sent on to this company to resell. I got a PS3 from choices UK and it was damaged box and everything looked new and the free game was still sealed.

and they would open them and test them to see if they are working? That still seems a bit odd to me ...

Any idea whether they have HDMI or not?

Only 9 left the chances are that HUKD members will buy them all.

Not necessarily, depends how old the xbox is, it has a 20GB hard drive and my 360 is an older 20GB version and it doesn't have HDMI.

Does seem a bit odd, the PS3 I bought didn't mention anything about them opening them to check that they are working but mabey they got a lot of returns before so are checking before they send them out to save on postage.

My 20GB Xbox 360 Premium came without a HDMI port. You may well be let-down.

Hmm, sorry, did check but didn't see previous post.

EDIT: LOL. Just saw that it was you that posted previously. That's not hugely great form. :P

Can you tell me the purpose of the HDMI. I got it on mine, and have a samsung TV with 2 ports. I just use the coloured wires for HDTV?

Here's some info on HDMI, pros, cons, specs, it's all very easy to find.

Well your 360 is NOT a premium one then as Premium means "with HDMI" it's the main difference. If yours doesn't haveone then you either got ripped off or you're very stupid.

Uh-oh. And YOU'RE very wrong.

The 360 with hard drive, wireless controller, and headset has been sold as a premium since day one, with or without HDMI.

When the HDMI premiums came out, they were often called 'Pro' or 'Premium Pro', to show that they had the HDMI. don't know if either of those titles are official, but one things for sure: Premium does not imply HDMI.

Don'tcha just love it when someone crashes in and posts abuse calling all the other people stupid when they're fundamentally wrong about everything? Here's some advice for you; next time, look both ways before crossing Irony Street.

Well, thats not entirely true.

Premiums were the name of the consoles that came with the hard drive when it was released. They have since re-branded these as 'Pro' consoles, which DO come with HDMI, they were also labelled as Premium w/ HDMI.

If I were ordering a premium off here I'd expect to see a console without HDMI unless it is stated otherwise. You might get lucky but thats a risk you'd have to take.
#18
Ouch.

Tommygun3030 is manically googling in vain.

Premiums had the 20gb hard drive, cores did not on release, neither had HDMI.

I believe the phrase 'you got owned' is appropriate.
#19
yes. get ur facts straight tommygun, maybe "you're very stupid." not you. I owned the first premium without the HDMI and it was a premium, the way you could tell with the old ones were:

Silver/coated disc drive = Premium
White plastic disc drive = Core
#20
I had a premium when they first got released, had no hdmi as it was not on system at time, got 3 ring of death, sent back and got one without hdmi but still premium.
They were running the stock of the none hdmi to replace with hdmi, still same name.
Like ps3 with 60gb and 80gb versions.

I have an Xbox 360 with HDMI and I find that my Xbox 360 does not output 1080P on the HDMI but does on the Component Cable. It only outputs 1080i on the HDMI. In truth unless your REALLY REALLY fussy there isn't any noticeable difference to all but the most perceptive of us it's a great picture either way.

So I wouldn't worry too much if you don't have HDMI is you can still output VERY HIGH quality pictures over a component cable.

I think Tommygun just got pacman'd by the community!

The Component HD AV cables supplied with the 20gb 360 only outputs upto 1080i whereas using a HDMI cable would allow a 1080p signal output but your TV must be able to support 1080p.

The component cables output 1080p, no problem. Perhaps you're thinking of HD DVDs? When watching a HD DVD the output is indeed limited to 1080i over component. The games will run at whatever resolution you want.

Are these gonna be prone to this E74 error that seems to be common now?? I couldn`t face losing another 360 to an error!
