20M ETHERNET LAN NETWORK CABLE @ color-pro eBay £1.74

brainsysbrainsys

337 degree hot deal of 2 weeks ago is now 40p cheaper. Surely the postage must cost more?

Problems with wifi dropout, mains powerline a bit dodgy? Get sure fast LAN connections the hard wired way. 20m takes you a long way. Need more? They throw in a connector so just buy another.

Surely the cheapest fastest way to network

Agreed they have Ebay & Paypal fees & I am pretty sure if I wanted to post this via Royal Mail it would cost more than £1.74 Go figure :| BTW heated op as I need one.

lost leader. Who knows if it works. Either way, the raw cable costs way more than this on reels! So if you need to cut it to lengths <20m, buy a bunch of these!

Really no idea if the quality is any good though - I mean, for gigabit...who knows..

or maybe its to increase volume to help hide all the bad feedbacks about their more expensive toner and inks :)

as an ebay seller I know most of the tricks.

It may not even be twisted pairs, so watch out if your after the proper rated speeds for Cat5e
If your just after a cheap long cable maybe for the router to PC and no heavy network traffic, then it could be fine

While this may not last forever, it is seriously cheap. I have been getting full speeds from mine no problem, had it approx 3 months. Laid under carpet around edge of room, working a treat. For the price, if it starts playing up I will replace it. I am sure they are losing a little on each one they sell, but then they will view it as paying a few pennies to buy positive feedback. It is tough for some of the EBay sellers feedback-wise. How many times do you see printer ink feedbacks that are negative and say "this HP ink didn't fit my Lexmark printer" or similar. I suspect that explains these deals.

When you say full speed are you getting 100mb or Gigabit?

I have absolutely no need for this. I cannot imagine off the top of my head when, where, why, or how I will use this.

BUT OH MY GOD I HAVE TO BUY IT!!! It's £1.74 for 20metres! It's BOUND to be useful for SOMETHING, at some point, sometime! Surely!? SURELY!?

OP, you're a complete git for posting this "it'd be daft not to..." deal :D
