Hate the stuff myself and *takes a look at empty bottle of Bud* at 4.1% it's pretty weak! But there's no denying that's a good deal.

Did you take that pic with your phone camera? Nice thinking!

It may be Ice Cold but voted Hot

I can see where your coming from, but alot of people buy alcohol, and at this time of the year, most people buy loads to stock up for BBQ's etc.

So deals like this are useful i personally think so anyway.

I hear the supermarkets are giving away free plastic bags with any purchase, although I think it is a limited time offer as they will soon be charging 10p for them. :giggle:

What are you on about? If I see a great deal do I post it? What kind of dumb question is that? £7.49 for 20 bottles of lager is a cracking buy, nearly half the price you'd normally expect to pay. Yes, it's Carling which I woudln't normally go for but at this price I would seriously consider it. If your Domestos deal is that good then yes, you post it.

Your avatar is, unintentionally I assume, so fitting.

2 boxes of 20 bottles of Stella for £16 in Tesco.
Tastes much better IMO.
#13
This would be a great deal if only Carling didn't give you a really bad headache and taste like pee compared with 1664 and Becks.

Exactly. I see DVD offers being posted like this DVD for £3 - perhaps a saving of £2 from stores like ASDA? Wow, £2 saving. Some people might buy it.

Alcohol is expensive and something most people buy! A lot of people buy it in bulk, for parties, BBQs etc as mentioned, or purchase it once a month or more so might stock up. That amounts to some savings. It's more valid than many other of the deals I see up here...

Good deal.

However, you invariably get what you pay for, and this deal is no exception.

No - I can drink loads of other beers and about half a bottle of malt whisky without too much trouble, but Carling always gives me a bad head. It must be some ingredient in it, so I prefer 1664 or Carlsberg Export.

Absolutely! I'd love to see a deal on Domestos :-D

My local have been doing this deal for weeks now. I still prefer their "own brand" french stubbies, which are also very cheap but a bit stronger and tastier.

im with this man, or san miguel or coors will do.

Great deal, went to a BBQ yesterday and took a box, I know it's cheap and nasty but by the time we drank it we really didn't care what it was, bit of a sore head this morning

its a good deal, they had bud ice on the same offer, but for 15 bottles
#29
Carling is probably one of the worst lagers in the world. Good deal for anyone that can drink it. Perfect for offering to those relatives you just don't like at a bbq.

Thanks, but I already have their number! My counsellor has already got me to cut back on my alcohol consumption, the witch.

How do people attend the second visit of AA, I mean if it's anonymous how do they contact you? ;-)

Both San Miguel and Coors are brewed under license in this country, whereas Sol and Corona are imported.

The cheapest Sol I have seen recently is in a gift pack in Tesco left over from Father's Day. If you can find them, you get two 330ml bottles and a plastic thing to help store more bottles in the fridge for £1.25.
