Seems like a great deal for the spec, 22" full HD HDMI monitor for only £165.

Next cheapest was microdirect for £167.86

Its alright, but only 1000:1 contrast, where as a plasma tv has a contrast of 30,000:1.

That would be dynamic contrast ratio, this has 20000:1 contrast ratio.

You find me a 22" full HD plasma tv for cheaper than this ;)
#3
No, a plasma has a static contrast of around 30,000:1. for example the th42pz85, has a static contrast of 30,000:1. and the kuro series has a static contrast of 30,000:1. So this must be very poor.

But it's not a plasma TV is it - it's a computer monitor......

Well then my point still stands, find me a plasma TV 22" full HD with HDMI, VGA and DVI connections for £165 and I will accept what you are saying.

Got one of these today, they are amazing, great size, colours, brightness. Looks amazing in games, haven't been able to test HD DVD or Blu Ray yet though.

Plugging my 360 in as soon as I get the right cable as well.
