For those of use that get free delivery there is no need to worry about that.
#3
This is £163.27 inc postage at checkout.

Still a good price though.

I've been following this Emprex monitor for ages and nobody has confirmed whether it has DVI or not.

Both monitors look identical too......look at the pics on this thread half way down :

http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81589

It says it does have DVI in all the product specs ....even on the manufacturer's website !
#8
well i can vouch the cibox from scan does i think there are 2 models one with one without
#9
The Cibox also comes in DVI and non-DVI flavours, part of the reason this is such a great deal is that this is the DVI version but at non-DVI price :)

Yeah I was interested in the emprex and went to comet, it doesn't have dvi!
This is a better deal with dvi so a bit more tempted.
The emprex didn't get great reviews though so still not sure!?

It says DVI on there but all the UK versions seem to be D-SUB only (VGA).

how many people actually have scan free delivery? Maybe if hadn't given it away they might be able to charge reasonable prices for everybody for delivery instead of the f*cking ridiculous ones they do. I will never shop with them for that reason...it's a shame because i've been looking for a monitor exactly like this one for a good price for ages. :(
#16
I used to use Scan a lot a few years ago, Till they upped the postage to the IOM to a ridiculous amount, It doesn't cost any more to send here, Yet they charged more!, I and about 5 others complained, Micro direct being the same. :x

Sorry for going off topic, Is a very good price though.

I'm trying to buy two of these monitors from Scan now. £300 worth !

But knowing some folk are getiing free delivery just by being a member of Hexus Forums and making 25 or more posts is putting me off. (i've been a member since 2005 but not did more than 25 posts - unfair - i should have posted crap like everyone else did)

So looks like Scan are going to lose a £300 sale.

I wonder how many other people feel the same .....Scan must be losing a small fortune.
suspended#18
I suspect they are, but they are covering it with the ****heads paying the exorbitant postage fees!

Don't scan do it anymore - even if i made a hexus id and commented on the first 25 posts i saw - or even 25 posts in a thread!

I take it there no way of getting free shipping now i.e doing as you said above. Have to agree it sucks they have done this and has put me off buying from them.

my last count there were 3 different forums offering free scan postage by membership, most u just need to join, post count dosnt matter.

"Input : DVI, Compatible with HDCP which allows users to read future"

Cool!!! ;) Precognition at a bargain price

Thanks Lexeus!

Was thinking about getting it for over an hour, then came across the eBuyer reviews which swang it for me (ebuyer's doing it for £160 but it seems from the reviews that one dosnt have DVI although the model number is the same?)

Also thanks to stu8 for the pics.

Probably wouldnt have bothered if it wasnt for the free Scan delivery or for the fact that now I gotta flog my old 19" dell on flea bay while its still worth somthing.
#29
np :)

glad it was of use to people! I thought I would hold out for prices to drop to £100, which I am hoping will happen within a year.

But now thinking maybe I should sell my 17" Dell and 19" Sony and go single screen

As I understand it the ebuyer model has only VGA, hence why Scan normally charge £15 more than ebuyer for this model which has both VGA and DVI.

Stu8 - what's it like with gaming?

not much of a gamer but i can tell you its good for HD films (no ghosting)

its got a gaming mode which has a quicker response time (spparently) the standard 5ms aint bad though

Just a quick note to say this Monitor is still on the today only page after the change today, although it will of course change again tomorrow :)
