thats a different lower spec tv-
3000:1 contrast ratio
not 20000:1
and it aint got freeview.
Got mine from Dixons (using my Egg card 5% and a 5% Dixons code) last week for £207. Next day delivery included. Looks like a really good piece of kit. Is a present so have just had a quick look to see if is all there and powers on, etc. Gets good reviews and much better than the one mentioned by kpmatthews, it gets poor reviews for sound. Anyway this one has more connections than you would ever use and really does look like a quality item. Also has a 3 year LG warranty, due to it being essentially a monitor with built in TV functionality. All LG monitors have 3 year warranty. Dixons try to sell you a 3 year warranty, they should be ashamed of themselves. So id getting one from PC World don't pay extra for warranty.

Welcome to HDUK ;)

This sort of stupidity is why "tech" related deals here are always a risk. Unless it's a £300 laptop or £300 dell, many deals are "too expensive" and voted cold... (yes, I know it's generalisation and there are some exceptions!). Many folk look at the basics - basically screen size and price - and vote on that, rather than anything at all relating to its full spec or quality. Also, people aren't that fond of PCWorld here...

Tis a shame, but, does mean I've managed to pick up some great deals that the majority think were **** as they didn't look at the small print :whistling:
Yes tend to agree. I had been looking for ages for a really good specification 22" TV for my son's Xmas. After some thorough research this model ticked all of the boxes. I was lucky enough to spot it last week at Dixon's for the same price and used my Egg card and a 5% Dixons code to get it a bit cheaper. I have yet to post a deal, cos don't think I could cope with all the negativity that some of the really good posts receive. Much of it generated by ignorance of many of the people who do post replies to posts.
Voted hot. Just wondered if they do this model in a 24 or 26inch version??

that's fair enough, but for some the almighty buck is more important than technical specifications!

ahhh the old pointless technical hype of dynamic contrast ratios....they will be the same i bet in terms of actual contrast ratio
i give up lol
