That is a fantastic deal IMO although I don't know much about monitors. Anyone care to update me?

Only thing is, surely you can get HDMI on any laptop that has DVI if you just have the right equipment?
#2
Good deal, got one! cheers for the info in post.
#3
This has a DVI connection and not HDMI; please amend heading.

I had the Neovo F419 (19" 4:3) before I sold it, and it was as clear as a bell. Very nice picture and with the free 3 years warranty, this is an excellent deal.
(The only reason I sold it is that I am waiting for a good 22" and this maybe it!).

hey just out of interest, the technical specs say this

Contrast Ratio: 2000:1 DCR

oh it's int he thread, anyway, what does all this typical verses DCR business mean?
#6
So could an xbox 360 be attached to this and if so how?

Just get the Official 360 VGA Cable and you will be good to go. There are 3rd party cables available but the build quality aint as good as the official one.

Dynamic Contrast - The backlight brightness is adjusted depending on a dark/light scene. most people turn it off as its annoying.

yes, google "xbox 360 vga cable" and there you have it!

Some good bargains on the Today only there. Gigabyte 8800GTS 512 with Neverwinter Nights 2 for £198, could sell the OEM game for £10ish on eBay I think.

I had trouble finding the monitor, but I found it on Scan's main page, so if anyone cannot find it have a look there.

If you can hook up an Xbox, does that mean you can hook up a Digibox?
#11
I suppose so, If the Digibox had DVI, VGA or HDMI (use DVI converter cable). I think Slingbox Pros have HDMI and have a digital tuner built in, of course that'd be a very expensive freeview box!
#12
I got one, many thanks voted hot!

Thanks Scouse_Mouse. For some absurd reason, the very bottom of the avforums page was not being displayed on my browser. There was no scroll bars to scroll down. I went to http://www.avforums.com/index.php and then clicked on the link on the top right Save Money section, loaded the same page but this time with the link at the bottom.

Thanks. Good Deal
