Held off posting this until I received and sent my items, now that it's out of the way I'll share.

Amazon are currently running a promotion where they give you an extra £5 credit when you trade in £15 worth of games.

I searched for a few games to trade in to get the most out of this and I stumbled upon NHL 14 which can be traded in for £15.50 and and can be bought for about £10 from Boomerang rentals, so trading in two would get you £31 + £5 bonus = £36 for a £20 spend.

You can also trade in Deadfall (Link in first post) for £9, this costs you £5.99 each (2 for £11.98 total and you get bck 36p in points) and you will get £18 + £5 = £23 in Amazon vouchers.

Amazon even offers you free post via Royal Mail or Collect+.

Feel free to post any suggestions if you've found a better spend to voucher ratio.

You can only trade in a maximum of 2 of the same game per account; you can also only get one £5 voucher per account.

CHECK YOUR CARD ACCOUNTS THAT YOU USED FOR YOUR ORDERS; IT LOOKS LIKE BOOMERANG WERE HACKED.
REPORT ANY FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY.

Hi Boomrang seems to be a membership rental site. Can you buy without joining?... do you have a link for NHL? How long did it take for your games to arrive?
Thanks for the help, Jane

It's not just £15 worth of games. It includes books too. It's also worth noting that this offer runs until the end of the month.

It was one per email-linked account per release of vouchers and there were several releases per day!

(eg if you had 12 accounts and there were 5 releases on Monday, you could theoretically get 60 vouchers that day.....if lightening fast fingers!......then do the same thing the next day with the 12 accounts, then the next.....)

Not really, you order two games then post them off?
Less hassle than making multiple bespoke accounts and clicking away.

You have to join to buy, it's free to join and you can buy games without a subscription.

Looks like I must have bought the last two, deadfall adventures is still in stock.

A lot of people voting cold for no reason; feel free to post a better offer for Amazon credit.

For roughly £400 net profit it was more hassle to click a few buttons to make some accounts? Really?

It was less hassle to search for games (by clicking buttons), order games (by clicking buttons), receive games, arrange to trade them-in (by clicking buttons), physically post the games? For all of £23. Interesting

Vast majority of people got £5 (If they were lucky), this is less hassle and you're getting a bit more money to spend, the equivalent of buying two bespoke offers vouchers. It might be more hassle to some one that abused the bespoke offer; but the bast majority of people got one or missed out.

No need to search for the games, they're already there with links.

Plus there's no reason why you couldn't do the bespoke offer and this.

If you break it down that way you've still got to click buttons and search for the multiple accounts that were created.

Or a lot less hassle to be a smug ****
Enjoy your £23
Cheers I will.
Don't really use Amazon that much so it's perfect.
Don't be too frivolous with your 36p tho
Any reason why you're still here?
Still annoyed about something; I've got no idea why though.
Not at all, your £23 stories are enthralling

Feel free to suggest another way to get more for your money at Amazon.
Otherwise please stop going off topic.
Thanks.

1. Use bespoke vouchers - 50% off
2. Put things you are interested-in on watch
3. Set-up camelcamelcamel alerts to email you when things you want hit your target discount/price
4. View offers on HUKD highlighted by other users.
5. Request discount quotes from Flubit

So your suggestion is to wait for a chance of getting a bespoke voucher; even though everyone is able to do this now?

You can do this along side all of those for extra benefit. . . . . .

This is not a my xx is bigger than yours, for info, to get anything like the figures quoted on the bespoke deal meant being online and ready to pounce for a considerable period of time over a couple of weeks

Plus there's no reason why you couldn't do this and take advantage of other offers; it's not one or the other.

Anything that adds value is great, you're nearly doubling your money in amazon vouchers.

If checking in store pick the best condition you can find.
The games I've got from boomerangrentals have all been like new.
