I bought one of these when they were £105. It is a great screen. Bright and vibrant colour. It had 1 pixel not working but is in the top right hand side so no bother. The only downside was the stand which is a bit flimsy but at this price it is livable with. Would recommend to buy, heat added.

Very Nice size for the price, but be warned, it is not HDCP compliant, which is needed for PS3/BluRay

Looks like a good deal, cheap for 23" full HD anyway, what is it like for watching HD content like movies through? For example a downloaded hd film? Is it good quality?

Thanks

No HDCP so no blu-ray, but downloaded HD should work fine, insane price though.

I got a digimate 24" 1920x1200 monitor nearly 3 years ago and its going strong, great for coding/playing games. I would really recommend it (assuming they are using similar or better panels these days).

All the best,
Ash

I'm using one now, got it for Xmas off the Mrs. Used to have a 19" Dell and now using this the extra screen space is excellent.

Only thing/issue i have when writing text, on certain areas of the screen it seems abit blurred in parts. Maybe it's because i'm just using a VGA cable and not the DVI. Like now line two of this text when i look at it seems slightly blurred compared to the line above. Mines got no dead pixels either, the on/off button is a nice neon blue colour and the stand and outer edges are a nice gloss black.

Love it

i bought this monitor a couple of months ago from ebuyer for £109.
Fantastic monitor, recommend to anybody looking for a budget HD 23". no HDMI but the divx is still good.

I have a macbook, and it works great as an extra screen or to use in clamshell mode and is also a nice monitor for gaming on my PC (L4D2 FTW! lol).

£111 is still a great deal. heat added

Already bought one for £106.91 on Today Only and Scan is only 5 miles up the road!

Pity it is 6" deep in snow between here and there!

would this work with a xbox 360?

Will work fine with the xbox - you'll just need a cable to covert from HDMI -> DVI.

how come you cant use ps3??couldnt u use a dvi to hdmi splitter??

You can use it for the PS3 for everything other than blu-ray playback as it doesn't have HDCP support.

So for PS3 gaming it would work fine.

doesnt seam to be on today only anymore

couldnt get free devlivery but got it 7.00 cheaper at dabs.com

My bro needs a monitor for his 360 so this looks okay.

As 360 doesnt support DVI would VGA be best the option for Picture quality as I know the 360 supports 1080p over VGA connection or would a HDMI-DVI lead be better?

Also regarding no HDCP support. Does that mean even HD downloads from xbox live will not lay with sound as when I download films on mine with a HDTV I get the message saying HDCP found.

Many Thanks

I purchased this monitor before christmas from ebuyer when it was a similar price. It's a fantastic monitor for the money, but unfortunately a single dead pixel (on arrival) turned into a row of horizontal dead pixels. It also emitted a slight high pitched whine when on standby. Ebuyer issued a refund as they didn't have any more in stock.

As a replacement I purchased the BenQ G2410HD from oyyy.co.uk and didn't notice any difference in picture quality between the two (Although I never got to compare them side-by-side). No dead pixels on the BenQ. The only thing I noticed was the absence of the above two issues, and having spent ~£25 extra. I tested both monitors over DVI.

Be aware that the digimate will probably only come with a VGA cable so you will need to purchase your own DVI cable, should you wish to use one. I got mine for £2 inc delivery on amazon marketplace.

Hot deal, provided you're not unlucky like I was! :)
