When will it end!? Cheaper AGAIN! Seems to be going down by £4-5 per week...
Free Delivery for AVForum members. Ends around 2PM tomorrow.

This is not a gaming monitor for those planning on getting one for it. VA Panels have the worst response times out of both IPS and TN, but on the other hand have true 8-bit colour gamut and the most accurate and deepest blacks out of the three panels. If you are a graphic designer you simply won't find better for the money.

Has anyone got one of these? I have had one for a while and love it as a bedroom tv except for one VERY annoying feature, it has an led light on the front that it switches on for no apparent reason usually at 3am! despite there being instructions in the manual to disable it, my OSD does not match the manual so I cannot find it, Samsung do not appear to be able to help. :(

I think you've got this muddled up with another model. This is a monitor so has no TV tuner/scart input, etc.
Out of curiosity do you get floorboards creaking, chairs stacking themselves on tables or doors opening and closing by themselves? You may have a ghost!

Why on earth would you want to use those when it's £91.19 at Scan? :s

And to answer the question, yes... it's dodgy! The website is registered to a residential address on this street.

or you could pay £59.99 to who's number is not recognised when you dial it - i just tried dialing the number given on the xelectronics.com web site and it rings twice before a BT message says "the number you have dialed has not been recognised" - its a scam!

It's £159.99 not £59.99 there. If they were scamming people I doubt they would bother making it so expensive because then they'd get no orders!

No in depth ones, but there's a big forum discussion on it here:

http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1586247

And a member here in another thread stated they prefer it over the more expensive VA panel BenQ EW2430V

Stupidly cheap price for 23"

Amazing value.

You're welcome!

For people thinking about holding out so it gets cheaper, i have a theory that Samsung are trying to offload their CPVA panel monitors and once the stocks are depleted, there won't be any more.
I class myself as a bit of a monitor nerd, and am always on the lookout for good deals on them... it's only over the past few weeks I've seen these VA panels plummet so quickly. And it's only a few months back ~£160 for a 23" VA panel would have been a bargain. Scan must be buying them for next to nothing to resell them on at this price...

I don't even need a monitor but I want to get one just because of that!

Super hot; ordered. Many thanks.

This is great for eye-finity :D

shame it dont have HDCP thou
#31
this is not a gaming monitor for thoseplanning on getting one for it.

I don't think that's really true, 8ms should be fine. I had a gaming monitor many years ago which was 25ms, then another which was 16ms I think.
#32
no good for my wii or watching movies then?
#33
Great deal but it you read that long thread (yawn), there have been quality issues with non-centred panels and hum. You could always send it back for a replacement though, I assume.

Also suffers from a bit of ghosting when you move your mouse, for example. Superb monitor nevertheless.

Would still advise reading that thread first.

I still need x3 21.5" monitors.... with HDCP support, i'd love these 23's but they're too big for what I need it for.

Anyone know of any good deals for 21.5" monitors any where? I'd like to order some today if possible.

They ain't that nice anyway, i read a few negative comments about them and the plastic looking cheap, they have a shiny dust attracting screen and no HDCP support.
