23" Samsung SyncMaster 2333T Full HD VA Panel TFT Monitor - £91.19 *Use link in first comment* @ Scan

When will it end!? Cheaper AGAIN! Seems to be going down by £4-5 per week...
Free Delivery for AVForum members. Ends around 2PM tomorrow.

This is not a gaming monitor for those planning on getting one for it. VA Panels have the worst response times out of both IPS and TN, but on the other hand have true 8-bit colour gamut and the most accurate and deepest blacks out of the three panels. If you are a graphic designer you simply won't find better for the money.

I still need x3 21.5" monitors.... with HDCP support, i'd love these 23's but they're too big for what I need it for.

Anyone know of any good deals for 21.5" monitors any where? I'd like to order some today if possible.

you wont get cheaper @ Dell if you have 3 monitors to send to them (hint: get CRT monitors <17in from freecycle or ebay (alot are 99p) and send them to Dell - send via parcel2go portal - send via dhl or yodel)

its a little bit of faff and you have to wait for the recycle cash but ive just bought 3 21.5in monitors (1 touchscreen) for about £150 (worth rrp £600 inc delivery)

no idea if these offer HDCP support though

Wait, why can't this be used for gaming? Surely it;'s better than my 4 year old 19" Asus monitor?

Well it all depends on the user. If you read through that forum thread I posted you'll see some people find games on it unplayable, whereas others do not notice any ghosting.
I guess it's like when you get a new pair of prescription glasses... it takes a day for your eyes to adapt. Obviously going straight from a 2ms TN panel to a 8ms VA you'll initially notice the difference. But after a day or two you should get used to it.

The input lag on this screen is supposedly very low. It's just the ghosting that's a problem for some...

I have the LG E2260V-PN that was posted as a deal on here a couple of weeks ago for £99. HDMI, VGA and DVI, but no speakers (but not a surprise given how slim it is, and I use something like this plugged into the headphone port on the back of it which works well). It's hooked up to my MacBook and my PS3 and I'm impressed with how well it works for both.

Also if you read that thread, there does seem to be more than usual variation between monitors, so quality control seems rather poor- at least in the States. How are Scan / Samsung with RMA's? (important question because you might need it)
    mamboboy
Well if it buzzes or has a fault, then it's not fit for purpose then Scan have to refund or replace it by law. They can be arsey with components if something is broke (i.e. damaged - they stick by their 'Scansure' a bit too much), but you'll be fine with a monitor.

This has now gone from the Today Only by the way, but it's still available for £90.19 via the link in the first comment :)

Hi Royals... I saw the Benq G2220HD on ebuyer, i like them but prefer the BenQ G2222HDL..with the LED back lighting.

I've got one working old 15"lcd monitor that I guess I could trade with Dell but i'm not sure how much dell's ST2220M 21.5 inch Widescreen LCD Panel Monitor with High Definition LED Display are though; it doesn't say on dells site in that link you gave me.

I need to source 2 more second hand old monitors if i use dell though as i need 3 new ones in total..

Have you got your 3 monitors setup together on the same mount, if so which mount are you using... i need to buy one of them too..8)

Actually SCRAP THAT that model doesnt have vesa mounts :(

Maybe a silly question, but will Scan honour that price as it was for 'today only'? Thanks.

They dispatch so fast that they won't have time to cancel. And I have a feeling they've purposely left it running in order to saturate their stocks of it quicker!

Just want to say what good service i got of scan , i clicked thru and got this for the £91 price, even thou the today only offer had officially finished. the monitor then went out of stock but instead of them just cancelling the order, like say ebuyer did, they offered me an alternative monitor for the same price or a full refund, the monitor they offered was a samsung 24" B2430L which they sell for £120, i decided to take there offer of the samsung B2430L, which was delivered this morning, Great monitor and great service from scan.
