Enough there to last until at least the 27th December from chistmas day!
Seems cheap to me!
I use rechargeables when I can - but these have their place too.
Rechargeables are great there's no doubt they work out cheaper and better for the environment - But they have a downside, having to be recharged -
or rather remembering to charge them (my fault not the batteries).
That little fact is the primary reason I buy these, I have some rechargables but they are usually changed mid game left on the sideboard (intending to charge them later) but end up forgotten about until I'm frantically looking for more batteries another day, put them in and find them flat.
My little girls toys probably have 20 AA's in them, plus gadgets, remotes, camera's etc etc etc.
Chasing around a busy house looking for and keeping charged 40 AA's and then the spares to back them up is something I just do not have the memory to do! Especially around Christmas!
This is probably true for alot of parents!

Great deal, I just got 24 Energizer AAs at Argos for £6.99 if you don't have a Morrisons near you.

Nice one. We get through batteries at an alarming rate, especially just after Christmas of course, so I'll be stocking up on a few packs of these.

I posted these batteries as I found them at B&Q for less than £4 for 24.

Suprising how the votes work here, i didn't even get 50% heat and it was cheaper!

No sign of this deal in Hartlepool Morrisons, despite a very helpful assistant asking half the staff about it for me.

probably better than the deal TESCO are doing. 16 ULTRA Energizer AA batteries for £5.

if we all stopped buying disposable batteries then duracell / energiser / whatever would have to come up with something better. till then we're hooked on these toxic nightmares! please dispose of these by taking them to your local dump for proper recycling.

Take them in the car? The car that runs on petrol?
That's just selfish. Think of poor Mother Earth.

Instead I dispose of mine every 5th November, by tossing them on a bonfire...
