I just picked up 3 packs of 4+4 free packs on extra long life batteries at boots. The 4 packs currently have 4 free for £2.99. However they are also on 3 for 2. So a bargain price of only 5.98 for 24 batteries. Stock up for Christmas with all those new kids toys!!!!

Packs of AAA batteries were also on the same offer so you could mix some AA's with AAA's if you wanted.

I've checked on line and this offer doesn't exist. Also these were displayed at the ends of some aisles hanging up.

What brand are they? Boots own or another?

Without wanting to get all preachy... no really... get rechargeables instead. They make a lot more sense financially and environmentally.

:)

Boots brand, I was hoping you could see that from the picture. Here's a link to the battery type. http://www.boots.com/en/Boots-AA-Extra-Long-Life-Alkaline-Batteries-12-pack_929699/

Rechargables are good too. However there are people that don't want to recharge and like to throw away.

This deal is for those who want normal batteries. And I still think £6 for own label 24 batteries is a great deal. Seeing as it's £6.99 for 12 of these at boots. See here http://www.boots.com/en/Boots-AA-Extra-Long-Life-Alkaline-Batteries-12-pack_929699/

There are people who do all sorts of mad things, doesn't make them sensible.

Seeing as this deal http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/544820/rechargeable-aa-2100mah-good-to-go-?t=544820 has new type slow discharge batteries at les than £4 for 4, it makes buying disposables far beyond lunacy :-(

At the rate kids at Xmas use batteries up, you can probably get your money's worth by Boxing Day!

Well this is a great deal for throw away batteries. I only wanted to let others know. It seems some have voted cold because they are not rechargables. Fair enough. I got some and that's all that matters to me.
