I know that this monitor is not for everyone (it doesn't have an HDMI connection), but it's dirty cheap for a branded 24" screen.

Cold? You're barking mad.

I've got one of these and it's absolutely brilliant. You won't currently find a 24" Dell or Fujitsu at this price and I seem to recall the Fujitsu had issues anyway.

Hot!!!

This is a 24" screen, the other ones are 23". So for £10 you get an extra inch (many guys would be happy to pay that money to get an extra inch...).

As a side note: I have one of the dell 23" monitors and it's great. The colours are super crisp.

It's the same resolution so you're not going to notice any difference.

funny, when I swapped my 32" 1366x768 TV for my 42" 1366x768 TV I noticed the latter was 10 inches bigger.

You really feel that a 1920x1080 23" monitor and a 1920x1080 24" monitor are going to be any different? I bet you'd be hard pressed to even tell which is which unless you had them side by side.

Which is a completely different situation that my comment is obviously not relevent to...

Punters are more likely to notice the extra inch than the extra £10.

People should be aware that most 23" 16:9 displays are actually 23.5" so theres not much difference in them from the 23". The only ones ive found that are actually 24" are some of the BenQ's tho this one appears to also be the full 24" too. Id be very picky about that extra half inch since id use it almost exclusively for watching films where big is definitely better. This also has a dvi cable included which is nice!

You're free to disagree with my opinion but could you please do it civilly?

Another reason why this deal is cold is that the same monitor is cheaper at ccl with delivery if you're not a member of AVForums/Hexus, and only £5 more expensive if you are so this is hardly a deal price.
