We chose sports direct (link directs you there); no particular reason as to why there over muddyfox itself.

My son will be pleased christmas morning!

Muddy Fox was a big deal in bmx circa 1980 then mtb circa 1990.

I think it then went bust and the brand name was bought to stick on bog standard bikes by Sports Direct or other such second rate parent company.

You're child won't need full suspension, it's just adding (lots of) unnecessary weight.

I get my kids used bikes, you can get a great used bike for £100 which they'll enjoy riding; a bit of tlc and some new grips etc and they often look like new... And you can sell it on in 12 months when outgrown without losing too much on it.

Agreed. I actually made money on an Islabike, after 2 years use, bought and sold on eBay.
