yes, there is a factory just down the road from me that grinds the girders down into irn bru

is this just online or only in certain stores? i was in asda (eastlands - the biggest one in eurpoe apparently) on sunday and they only had 6 packs (and they only ever have 6packs)
#8
I've only seen 6 packs as well.

Wouldn't be surprised if larger packs are mainly in Scotland.

Couldn't believe the first time I went to buy a soft drink in Scotland. The fridge was full of Irn Bru and the only alternative was diet Irn Bru.

I reckon that a 12 pack will probably be sold as a snack pack or fun size north of the border.;-)

I was in Scotland up near Inverness a few weeks back. Went into Woolworths and Irn Bru filled the shelves. It reminded me of seeing tins of Roses stocked up on the shelves in Tesco's at Christmas time. The youngsters seemed to be drinking it instead of Coke or Pepsi all the time too.

I think that scotland is one of only two countries in the world where coke is not the top selling drink, as its irn bru!!! yayyyy.....i love it
#12
I've seen this a few times at the bigger Asda near to me (Aberdeen - Garthdee), but most stores around here sell the 2litre bottles for 99p, so I've never really had to bother with cans, but its deffo a good deal!

In scotland you are fed irn bru at birth instead of milk(i'm from glasgow).
Thanks for original post will pop down to asda later.

No, seriously. It was at a petrol station between Stirling City Centre and the University campus. I wasn't complaining as I love the stuff especially as a hangover cure, as mentioned earlier.

I also thought I'd been massively over-changed until I realised they still had pound notes.

I am the only Glaswegian i know that hates the stuff......full of sugar,to sweet for me.....everyone up here drinks the stuff........well after the lager that is :giggle:

Voted hot for keeping my fellow Glaswegians topped up.....and for all the dentists in Glasgow ( i'm sure they have shares in Irn Bru)

Years ago, when i lived down south, the local chemist was the only place i could find it :giggle:

National secret ingredients :w00t: it has been rumoured to contain rose water? and sugar :giggle:

Not too far from the sugar content of other carbonated drinks, I'd wager, but distinctly without the health giving properties!
#19
Not available online and no sign of it in my 2 local stores.Must be only for you jocks north of the border.

Its the only drink that can outsell Coke. Thats why the Coca Cola company desperatley wants to buy them out!
