Should they have been wrapped together, or had someone not unpacked the pallet properly?

A few years back, I bought some loft isolation from B&Q, which on the pallet were 3 rolls wrapped as one. Got to the checkout and they scanned the end of the pack.

It wasn't till I got in the car, that I realised I'd only been chargedfor 1 roll :whistling:

The price is cheaper than usual I agree. It really isn't nice Lager though, watery, fizzy and tasteless like most American beers.

I suspect the hot voters all like Carling/Carlsberg/Fosters also?

I personally dislike miller but just because you personally dislike the beer does not mean it is not a hot deal.
However I do wonder if this is a pricing error in a single store rather than a deal.

No, I voted hot because it's a good deal!!!

£17.99 for 24 cans in bargain booze.

Apparently the brewery are withdrawing Miller so maybe ASDA are trying to get rid of excess stock?

It's nothing to do with being a 'snob'. They are weak and generally horrible lagers, only made drinkable by the price.

I admit to drinking them a lot, but only because I like to get wasted now and again. Calling someone a 'snob' for saying that is a bit pathetic though, and just makes you look a bit simple to be honest.

If this is nationwide then it's a very, very hot deal. I suspect it'll be that store only though unfortunately.

What is a hot deal for you might not be for others. For me this would just be expensive toilet and drain cleaner. Bleach is a far cheaper and more effective way of disinfecting drains.

But I acknowledge that in Britain standards of taste when it comes to alcohol are extremely low for the majority. So many will find this price attractive.

Not availiable on line .. gutted i like itrefreshing and not toooooo strong, if you like the looney juices export special etc don't bother with it, still a hot deal, wish i was nearer to you.. ;-)

What a stupid thing to say - how is the guy a snob for decrying the qualities of lagers?:whistling:

This stuff is garbage and has no taste, but it is a hot deal for those that like it - so I voted hot.

Great deal but even if it was going at all in my local asda (coatbridge), they will be well gone by now! When they had the deal on for boxes of Bud Ice etc for £5 it was nothing short of utter carnage! Scary.

as an earlier poster said, nobody is picking up the license to brew miller and as of january they are stopping brewing it. that means it will be no longer available to buy as of june/july next year.

When tesco were doing 18 Stella (think is was 18 mayeb 15?!?!?) for £5 a few weeks ago my local Tesco in Inverness had about 50 boxes of the stuff just laying there a few days after teh promotion started. I bought one for my sister as I am not a huge fan of the stuff. Now that I think back I should probbaly have bough 10 boxes at that price!
#22
Hot btw but closest Asda is 30 miles away so nae chance.
#23
None in Asda High Wycombe but great if you can get it
#24
I think you fell lucky with this one... in my asda (just down road from you) It was 12 cans for £6 and they had a happy christmas sign above them with the 12 can offer on.....
#25
wish I'd got more now.... Going to have a quick mooch now!

Just been... they've still got it, however some of the packs had been split! checked with a staff member who said it was for 12 and started to promptly split them all up.

Ah well, got a bargain there!
