You could get a blackberry Torch 9800 for free, usually you'd have to pay £90ish, get 500 mins, unlimited texts, 500mb data, unlimited o2 to o2 calls all for £25.53 a month.

Blackberry Bold and the others also available for free

24 month contract

£23.46 per month after quidco (if my calculations are correct)
The Torch is a really nice phone, the only blackberry that I would want personally.
But I think id personally go for something like a HTC desire, good deals on them these days.
But this is def a good deal for those who likes there blackberrys, and the blackberry messenger stuff, and a really good deal if you know a lot of people on o2!
I really don't see the problem with 24month contracts, I never change my phone less than 2 years anyways.
Heat Added.

mmmm very considered actually, had blackberry, iphone and now got a desire which I feel more than qualifies my opinion. Desire is a country mile ahead of blackberry and recent stats show its way preferred to iphone too. So sorry blackberry user for highlighting the truth.

"calm down, calm down"

Just remember it's horses for courses. I know plenty who have switched between all three manufacturers, all for their own "valid" reasons including from IPhone to Blackberry due to BBM etc.

Doesn't make any of them a "crap" phone.

It's not a bad deal when combined with the new Blackberry Torch 9800 and was what my girlfriend WAS going to switch to (especially as Quidco were offering £90 cashback on 24 month deals in the last week or so of last month) BUT when she spoke to Vodafone once her previous 12-month SIM only contract was up, managed to get 1000 minutes plus unlimited text, internet and email (BIS) for £25 per month. A full £10 per month cheaper than the "best deal" they could offer her the previous week, days before her contract ended.

Wrong again, not a BB owner. All you have done is expressed your preference - you are a singular being and you are not fully representative of all phone owners and users. Did you type your reply on your Desire? If so you may want to get it checked as the upper case for text seems to be faulty.;)

I got the 1000 min 02 deal at E2save which works out at £22.34 after cashback and called O2 within the 7 day cool off period and they were happy to add the free 02 to 02 package as a bolt on which I can change after 90 days as I wont be using it much, Give them a call and they should add it on for you as its the same deal as on their website.
