Essentially 400 Minutes and Unlimited Texts for £1.07 a month.

Terribly basic phone aside, this deal allows you to get a Orange Canary 24 Month Contract for (after cashback of 23 months free) £25.54. This works out at £1.07 a month.

Also, Quidco does £50 cashback, meaning you actually end up making £25 by doing this.

Orange Canary 25

400 mins Any
Network Anytime + Unlimited Texts

Cashback is easy to claim nowadays: You can just send an email, and they allow 2 months from the claim date. Also, phone repairs are easy, just take it to your nearest CarphoneWarehouse.

Well no, there is one if (you get the price if you send in 6(?) bills by email), no buts and no maybes.

At £1.07 a month, why would you really care if it's a 2 year deal?

Always been with mobiles.co.uk, and they've been great. I thought people would appreciate a £1.07 a month deal.

i stand corrected then, sorry but regarding cashback i am a bit dubious if you dont get it then your stuck for 2 years, but if it worked out for then good for you

excellent deal. if you are able to follow simple instructions the only risk is if the company itself goes bust. email bill submission from mobiles.co.uk is a godsend as you save ~£25 on special delivery across all bill submissions, and in my recent claims the turnaround time from receiving the bill to getting the cheque has been around 14 days.

just remember to cancel the stupid insurance and tech advice line thing (as if anyone would take out insurance on a phone so cheap) X)

thats right with these sort of deals its only a matter of time surely before the company goes t--s up cos they cant sustain these sort of deals indefinately come on just over a pound a month for 400mins,suppose its ok if your not in the loop when they go bust, but thats just my opinion if people are brave enough to go for it and two years later they are still ok with the deal, then good luck to them

Good advice about the insurance and geek squad.

Just want to agree with the comment about company going bust, but feel that as carphone warehouse is behind it, I think I'd rely on them more than any other retailer out there.

I do understand your concern about it, but as someone who is now on his 8th cashback contract (with 3 running concurrently at the moment!), I can confirm that if you follow the very simple instructions, you have nothing to worry about.

but the fact remains this sort of deal has been offered for around 10 years and yet companies continue to offer them. admittedly, they are not as impressive as they once were, where i used to have a £30/month contract for a year with a decent free phone and made a profit on it, but the deals are still on.

my first comment about being able to follow simple instructions actually rules out a lot of people, which i guess is what makes the deals sustainable. plus the fact that relatively few people will take a deal like this as it doesn't come with a shiny, shiny phone.

just out of interest, i have previously had a cashback deal from a company that's gone bust, and it wasn't much fun. the fact that mobiles.co.uk are backed by CPW is some comfort, but i'm not sure of the extent to which the parent company is obliged to back up the subsidiary.
